Alpha Pack Backpack for the Phantom 4 Drone

Purchased 5 months ago, still used for traveling! Recently used for road trip from NY to Texas, pack held up great! Packed filled with drone, gopro accessories, camera accessories, cleaning supplies, safety supplies. Massive and extra pockets are great! Why i chose to have a military style backpack with molle attachments!When purchased styrofoam cut-out was incorrect from what was displayed. Controller placement was not cut right, so controller could not fit. Contacted seller and received refund. Easy fix, cut styrofoam to fit controller and no problems! Seems now they updated the foam.Only problem with backpack is one plastic clip on arm strap broke off. Not important, still functional without clip. Stitching is holding well. No other problems!Satisfied with product!Update: 10/2/2018Still have this and i like it. I completely took the styrofoam out from the backpack and use both separately. I will be selling the styrofoam insert with the drone and everything with it. It alone holds all is needed. The backpack I will keep for other uses. The backpack is very large and quite heavy. I do not think it will be my norm for hiking, would be too much weight. Still great quality. Nothing has broken on it since my last update. Still "like" this backpack.

I ordered this for my new Phantom 3 hoping to save some money over the $330 DJI pack made specifically for the 3. Seeing that its a relatively new drone I wasn't expecting to find many options out there. I just wanted a pack to hike in with.This pack DOES NOT fit the Phantom 3 however. But nothing a steak knife and some ingenuity can't fix. I simply widened the hole the legs fit into, and carved out some extra space for the controller. That's pretty much it. The reason I still rated it 4 stars was for the awesome design. Very sturdy, lots of pockets, and tons of padding. And its a relatively large pack too, I'm 5' 8" and my overnight backpacking backpack is still smaller. But how often do you see people carrying a drone? Still functional.If you're tired of carrying around that white box the drone came in, then get a pack like this. Does what it needs to.

This is a premium backpack designed to carry the DJI Phantom. The cut outs are shaped for the Vision. I have to remove the FPV display from my non-Vision Phantom to get the controller to fit, however there is a slot for the display to fit in to. The backpack is versatile, it quickly converts from shoulder straps & waist band to carrying bag.There is some extra room in the external pockets for additional items. That is a good place to keep the assorted power chargers and other odds & ends. When backpacking, those items could easily be removed and replaced with some hiking provisions.Overall this is a large pack, but that is a factor of the size/shape of the Phantom. When loaded it is not excessively heavy, despite its bulk.Note to purchasers: Despite this being an Amazon purchase, it will be filled by a 3rd party. They will ship requiring a signature, unlike everything else I have purchased from Amazon (including the much more expensive Phantom). The signature requirement caught me off-guard and I had to make alternative delivery arrangements when the package was already in transit. Had I known the requirement in advance I would have simply provided a different ship-to address up front.

The term "Backpack fits DJI's Foam Case" should be used VERY loosely, which is exactly how this fits the foam case. This is obviously just a normal drone backpack with the foam insert removed, and NOT in any way made specifically for the Phantom 4's foam case. So if you think you're buying a nice, compact backpack around the size of the P4's foam case, think again. This thing is HUGE (bigger than the P3 and Solo backpacks) and full of weird straps that don't really serve any purpose. I'm dumping this as soon as I find a viable alternative.

This bag is awesome! Don't bother wasting 200 bucks on a case for your heli. I read reviews that it won't fit a phantom 3, but they must have been on crack while writing the review....fits perfectly. Two slots for batteries, place for props, controller, and charger. Has plenty of zipper pockets for tablet, SD cards, lenses, sandwiches, 6 pack....maybe not the 6 pack but this has all you would need for transporting your baby. I guess you could fit some diapers and wipes. Nice shoulder straps for hiking and they stow away if you just want to carry a canvas bag. Comes with an over the shoulder strap as well. Can't believe this thing was only 49 bucks. It was bigger than I expected but I've also never had a backpack for a copter either. Buy it now or waste your money elsewhere.

Received this item and I really liked it! It was a great backpack for my phantom and everything for well,was even able to fit my laptop in this bag, the only down side to this bag was when I received this item the Zipper was broken! And only closed 3/4th of the way, so that was no good!

I ordered this backpack, not thinking it would be very good for the price. But i am very surprised. It is a quality bag that fits my Phantom 3 Pro very well. Everything fits perfectly. The legs are a little snug, but i would rather it be snug than loose and moving around. It has ann inner pack that the Phantom goes into then into the main back pack. There is plenty of extra storage for other items as well and plenty of straps. I love that it has the extra piece that goes on top of the Phantom then into the storage bag. It has room for the Phantom, 2 batteries, Lightbridge controller and a tablet. I highly recommend this back and save some money. Hopefully it will last for a long time.
