ElomiWomen's Betty Underwire Plunge Bra

This is my second time buying this bra. It has an excellent, no, make that a superior fit. I am rather large busted and find this bra supports and lifts perfectly. It is not what's called a t-shirt bra, made to look smooth beneath a t-shirt, so if that's what you're looking for, you might want to purchase a different bra for those days. If you look at the photo, you will see the cup is made of three parts- a top, then the bottom is split into two parts. This extra seaming makes a very nice shaped cup and provides more support than a typical two-part cup. Another great feature for me is there is no foam in this bra. I am allergic to latex, so when there is foam in the cup (which I don't need anyway!) or in the straps, my skin becomes irritated. I also like the light weight fabric of the bra- it is very comfortable. One more thing, which relates to any bra you purchase, is to make sure that you are buying the right size. Any bra with an underwire is going to last much longer if it's not twisted and turned in the washer, and this beautiful one is no exception.

I am pretty busty 34 G UK/ 34 I US and traded in what little firmness I previously had by breastfeeding, but this bra somehow is able to comfortably support and lift me without causing me to fold over on myself . Don't know how they accomplished all that while still being the most comfortable bra I have ever worn, but Bravo! The only complaint I have is that the bra's gore is too wide for me, which causes my ladies to point a little outward. However, I have tried dozens and dozens of bras and every bra that I have ever tried with a gore taller than half an inch has been too wide for me... so perhaps I am just really abnormally close together. Oh well! Hopefully some day some amazingly awesome bra company will come out with a thin gore supportive bra line for us close set folks, but until then best fitting, best supporting, best lifting, and most comfortable bra I have ever tried all rolled into one! Also BTW while this is not a minimizer it is also not going to emphasize your bust.

I love the look of this bra and since I have other Elomi bras I was pretty confident in ordering my size. Unfortunately the material leaves something to be desired - the cups don't stretch and accommodate my shape very well so I ended up with a lot of 'extra' fabric at the top that bunched up a bit. The seams also bunch up more than I'd like and are pretty visible even through my shirt. I also had an issue with the cup coming up too high in my arm pit and chafing the skin quite a bit. I really like the look of this bra so I'm ordering it in a cup size down and hopefully that fixes the problems I had with this one.Update: I did reorder this bra in a cup size down and this fixed all the problems I experienced with the last one. I will say that I'm still not in love with the fabric but the bra is comfortable and cute.

As most Elomi bras, this is way better quality than average, especially for folks like me who are bigger than average sizes carried in stores. However, this particular bra has a couple issues:1. The embroidery around the edge makes the cups loose there, which can contribute to quad-boob. A bit of elastic here would be nice.2. This is the reason for 3 stars -- the mesh fabric is good for summer, it's cool. BUT having the mesh on the insides of the wires is TERRIBLE. I didn't notice the first couple times I wore it, but now, especially in summer, that mesh rubs against your ribs as you bend and move throughout the day and it becomes abrasive! I am going to see if my local alterations place can put some sort of cushioning there, but for bras in this price range, it's not ideal to have to alter.PLEASE if an Elomi person sees this, consider changing the design just a tad to put something softer around the wires.

I love the Elomi brand and this bra is no exception. I wear a 36G (UK) and 36I (US), and I have wide set, projected breasts with wide roots. Elomi bras have very wide underwires, they go almost to my back, which is exactly what I need. This bra provides great separation and support, and it is sturdy and well constructed. My only dislike- this does not fit me like a plunge bra. The gore is not as tall as a full cup bra, but the cups still fit like a full cup. I am not sure if it is the bra, or the fact that I have a short torso. Also the edges of the fabric are slightly itchy, especially at the top of the gore. Overall, good bra, good price, fast shipping, would buy again.

I finally got myself sized properly at Nordstrom's, and this one of the bras that was recommended for me. I love it. It is cute, lifts and supports me. Which for most plus sized bras is hard. A lot of plus size bras try to minimize your chest, I have large chest and I don't want the flat squished boob look! I actually feel sexy when I wear it. It works well for low cut v-shirts, and my normal problem of having the wire pop out is gone. 3 clasp hook in back. For cleaning, I wash mine in a laundry bag on gentle, and lay flat to dry.I have this in black, navy, rose, and turquoise. I have other Elomi bras as well, but this is my favorite, so I will continue to purchase new colors as they come out.Perhaps the only thing you should note, is the way the cup is sewn the seam line can be seen on tight and/or thin shirts. I tend to wear a camisole or tank under most of my shirts, so it doesn't really bother me.
