Solid build quality, great performance and product support.
This is a very solidly built dash camera from a company that offers great support. They release improvements through firmware updates and have a good website. The manual is very well written and easy to understand.Great video quality, especially night time footage. (I do recommend the additional mount that allows use of a 52mm polarizing filter to eliminate glare)Easy to navigate menus, and operate camera.Lots of attention to detail. Great build quality. Solid mounting accessories. For the money, there is great value here. This camera ticks all the boxes; giving you great footage you can count on when you need it most, in a solidly built package that will perform for a long time.I have been using it professionally for some time now, with over 400 hours of use. I regularly switch it in and out of different vehicles.

One of them keeps restarting all the time. Unreliable!
Bought two of these in January 2017 and had them installed around April. Since this spring, one of them keeps restarting all the time. And if the car battery gets disconnected by our mechanic, they lose all the settings. They don't pick up the date and time from any GPS, and don't even appear to record reliably.Updated: 12-28-18: We had a car following us this afternoon, who kept beeping their horn and flashing their lights, for about 1.5 miles! I was doing 30 MPH in a 30 MPH zone ) I was almost ready to call the police, when they turned off the street we were on. When we got home, I pulled the chip out, to see if we could contact the police with it, or at LEAST put it on Facebook, but it had only recorded the last 10 minutes of the trip, and no other video was there! I won't ever buy another dash cam from this company.

Good buy
I purchased the Marcus 2 in June, left it in my car all summer 90°F + outside you can imagine what the temperature is inside the car with the windows up. Still fired up once it got power and recorded with no issue, microphone is great picks up well, it is annoying when I have the windows down driving it picks up the wind blowing, but you do have the option of turning off the microphone. I don't know how the camera will handle in the up coming winter. I didn't purchase the cpl though I may in the future. I have recommended the Marcus 2 to my family friends and Co wokers. One con I can think of is that it's a little bulky, this isn't a slim design. Parking mode offers a 2 second buffer (will show you 2 seconds prior to the event that set it off) a fly landed on my windshield while in parking mode and set it off. Low light level is good.

It was a good solid camera while it worked and the main reason ...
Bought this camera in Jan2016. Today it wouldn't power on anymore. Limited warranty only lasts for 1 year so that doesn't help. Normal usage in the car with just regular power on and off due to it being plugged into the 12V receptacle. Weather has been mild to cold lately with a brief heat spell over the CA summer so temperature hasn't been an issue. The mounting was solid so the camera was never dropped. No clue other than today it decided to move onto the afterlife. It was a good solid camera while it worked and the main reason I purchased it was because it had a high tolerance for high temps but seriously only lasting one year with minimal wear and tear one would think this camera should last several years at its price point.

Awesome name for a camera!
After trying some cheap dash cams, then a not so cheap Garmin 30, I finally found a dash cam the works as it should. The picture quality is reasonable, but besides the cool name the big advantage of the Marcus 2 is the ease of operation. You don't have to touch anything, set it and forget it. It starts and stops with motion, so no more switching the camera on and off. The one button save feature is appealing when you want to relive the moment of some idiot cutting you off in traffic. It's a great camera, easy to set up and use, and it works as advertised.

Everyone should have one of these
This is one of the best on the market at this time. It has been very reliable. In our other car we also have the highest resolution one and have had to use footage on several occasions. This camera has saved us from a few incidents for sure. Highly recommended.

No battery design major selling point
I have had older VicoVation cars in two vehicles for several years. They work well, produce good video. Decided to get this model for third car. Good size, great video, works well. No battery design is one of major selling points for me. Recommend.
