Best Sunscreen for oily skin
My favorite sunscreen. I refuse to use anything else. It’s perfect for my oily skin and does not leave a white cast. It is not heavy on the skin. Highly recommend this product.

Smooth, easy to apply, no white cast
As a darker-skinned person, I have been on a mission to find a mineral sunscreen that is water-resistant with no chalky white cast and no sticky feeling AND no annoying fragrance. This one ticks all the boxes and it's very impressive that it wears so elegantly with 20% zinc oxide in the formula. I like to avoid the chemical ones, and I have found non-water-resistant mineral options that wear quite elegantly, but water-resistant options with an elegant wear had long eluded me. I'd love to always wear my favorite non-water-resistant spf, but unfortunately those are not so helpful for when you're at the beach/pool - on such days, I dread having to reach for the thick pasty gloopy water-resistant ones. I seriously wish I had found this sooner before spending on so many others that promised to be sheer zinc only to be the color and texture of white wall paint. My little one and I both have a medium brown skin tone so the chalky cast on most mineral spf turns us straight up grey/purple and worse yet, that grey purple cast lasts through multiple showers unless you seriously scrub it off your skin - not so great for kids or anyone with sensitive skin.So this one melts into the skin nicely with minimal effort and virtually no white cast. I probably wouldn't use it on the face as it's a little heavy for my oily/combo skin, but on a child's facial skin it would work just fine. It's not sticky at all, so if you're an adult with dry facial skin and/or don't mind a bit of dewiness, it could work on the face, too. I just prefer to invest in more lightweight elegant options for the face - and in general they seem to make more elegant formulas for the face in under 2oz sizes so they're not really applicable to the body, which is a bummer. While this isn't as small as the ones made for the face, since you need much more for the body, I wish it came in a 5oz size for the price. I have tested like 30 different mineral water-resistant options by now, and this one along with the C'est Moi sunshine sunscreen are the two best I've found. If price is a factor with this one, I would recommend checking out C'est Moi as it is similar in texture, also leaves no white cast, is also fragrance-free, is also completely zinc oxide formulation, and cheaper. Most importantly, if you have kids, this would make applying sunscreen on them much easier, since it's impossible to get kids to sit still for more than a couple seconds before they run off.

Very impressed!
I actually ordered this sunscreen for someone else, and made up my mind to get one for myself immediately. It went on smoothly and there was no white cast, which I was worried about. You can’t even tell I just put sunscreen on the back of my hand! What really surprised me is how soft it left my skin. Also, there is absolutely no smell, which is great if you don’t like smelling like sunscreen all day. Definitely give this product a try!

I heard such good things about this product
I figured I’d give it a try because iv been looking for a mineral sunscreen that doesn’t leave my face feeling dry and irritated and had heard from an influencer that this product was hydrating and I new it was to good to be true.. dang I was so disappointed when it was the exact opposite. It left my face feeling a little irritated, very dry and shiny which I didn’t like, I have dry/dehydrated skin. It did have a white cast but after it set it cleared up and I’m not sure how long it took it felt like an hr I used min 2 finger lengths which is advised by estheticians and dermatologists.

Only sunscreen I’ve ever tried that I don’t hate. That’s high praise.
I am really picky about sunscreen to the point where I’d rather just risk it in almost every case. I haven’t worn sunscreen at all in years. They almost all give me break-outs. I am extreme uncomfortable with the hormone disrupting properties of chemical sunscreens. I also don’t like the “reflective street sign” look that most mineral sunscreens give you, which only intensifies as they turn to disgusting slime the moment you touch water. But last week, I had to be on a boat for 4 days without much of a base tan. I decided this was not the time to risk it. And after tons of searching, I decided I’d give this one a shot.I don’t hate it. That sounds like faint praise, but those are the most positive feelings I’ve ever had towards a sunscreen in my life.Firstly, it did its job. I did not burn, even spending 8 to 10 hours a day on the water. I should note, I’m Southern European/Mediterranean, so even when I’m not tan, I’m not exactly fair. If you are, SPF40 might not be enough for you, but you probably know that.Secondly, I did not look like low-light bicycle safety gear. That’s always nice. And thirdly, it is not slimy. It’s not as matte as I would like, and I can still feel it a bit for 10 or 20 minutes after applying. But it’s not extremely annoying, and if you have dry skin you might not notice. If I had one critique of this sunscreen, I wish it was just a little more matte. And finally, no break-out. It’s almost a week later, and my skin still seems perfectly happy.Congratulations, Cotz. You have made a sunscreen I might actually wear from time to time. That is a feat of engineering dozens of companies have failed to achieve.
