I have never installed lights or done much electrical work in the house. I prefer leaving that to the pros. With the purchase of the new house and getting the theater room put together, I simply could not afford the quotes I was getting ($200 per light to install). These lights when in extremely easily and wiring was a breeze. Mine went in to the attic which makes life easier.Some advice for those home DIYers.1. The hole saw that you can get with this needs an arbor. You might as well purchase that too if you don't already have one.2. Purchase a cheap 2x2 piece of drywall from the big box store. Practice cutting holes on that until you are comfortable cutting into your ceiling. I found dropping the speed down on my cordless drill forced me to go at the right speed.3. Double and triple check studs and cross beams in your ceiling. I ran into 3 issues when I mapped out the room. 2 are easily fixed with putty. The other needs a contractor to fix.4. You may need a dimmer switch because these are bright. Make sure you get a dimmer rated for LEDs.

I bought these LED recessed lights for a bathroom renovation and was concerned about the amount of light they would provide and of course their appearance. We had an electrician install 3 lights - took him no time at all. Thirty minutes tops including removing the old light fixture and cutting holes in ceiling, etc. We had two lights installed over the sink/vanity and one centered just outside the shower. The ability to tilt the light makes it perfect for illuminating the shower. The bathroom is 5 X 10 and three lights provide the perfect amount of light. We also had a dimmer installed and they work very well with dimmer - no noise, flickering, etc. Turned all the way down they make a perfect as night light for guests. The brushed nickel finish is excellent. We are renovating the master bath next and have purchased more of these lights for that bathroom as well.

Nice lights - bright and small enough to fit in roof rafters. Only issue was when I moved one of the 16 installed lights and blew the GCFI fuse since the hot black wire was cut and contacted the metal casing. The wires are run through a metal tube to go from the can part to the junction box. Only problem is the tube edges are sharp and cut through the black wire. Bad combination of easily cut heat resistant insulation on wires and sharp metal edge means high probability of a short if you adjust the light fixture position after installation. Need to be very gentle.

Installed four of these in a square pattern in my kitchen. At first used a standard switch but the combined 200 watts was a bit bright, and I wanted to be able to leave these dimmed in the evening instead of burning $$ with the halogen under cabinet puck lights. Used the Lutron C-L and it works perfectly. No "buzzing" at all, and the range is from full to barely able to see that they are on. I would recommend the both of them. And a 3 3/4 inch hole saw works perfectly, though it says 3 7/8.

These lights are just what we needed for a low ceiling. We have artwork in this formerly dark area and now it looks amazing. The lights swivel to focus them exactly where we want. The installation was easy. You can’t beat the price and quality of these little gems.

Used these fixtures in my kitchen. They are perfect, easy to install, and very low profile. Very good light output to the point that I am going to get a dimmer installed to tone them down when not cooking or needing so much light. Good price also

Ours were installed by an electrician last week. He did not have any problems with the installation. They are just what we wanted and look great. Some reviews indicate they quit working within a short period of time. Only time will tell as far as them lasting but for now we are pleased with them.

These little guys look fantastic and are an excellent addition to our new modern bath. However, the package was obviously opened and one of the lights could not be used. Will have to see how Amazon and Globe will handle this. BTW, put these on an Insteon 2-band intelligent switch and Alexa now controls them for me :-)
