The only thing that would make this deshedding tool better would be for it to hold more fur. It does such a great job of removing loose fur that I'm constantly having to stop brushing my cat to clean out the tool. Of course, that makes my cat angry because he wants the brushing to continue nonstop. The grip is easy to hold and I like the size and weight of the tool. It's perfect for my cat. My dog has course, long hair like a German Shepherd and this brush doesn't work that well with his coat.

Works great for my husky mix. He enjoyed it actually. Doesn't snag and easy to use and clean. I used to own a Furminator. This works just as well (maybe better) for a third of the price.

Great quality. Perfect for my Belgian Malinois, his fur is thick and clumpy from not being brushed for a month.. This was able to get all the tough winter coat that was wanting to shed off anyway. Easy to use, and the hair comes right off the brush with little effort too. My pup must have LOVED how it felt on his skin because he rolled over on his back for more brushing. Highly recommend for my long hair pup friends!

This thing is good quality works great! I found it works best with short repetive strokes rather than long continuous strokes. Yes you have to clean it out a lot but it's worth it! My cats actually enjoyed having this used on them. **Do be careful to avoid areas with wiskers. I lightly ran it over my cats head (because he likes it when I brush it) but the teeth on this accidently pulled out three of his wiskers above his eyes. The picture shows how much loose fur and undercoat was removed after the first use (5-10 mins of using). I definitely recommend this product. In case anyone is wondering what little brown pieces are shown in the picture, they are from his cardboard scratcher that he just got done rolling on).

This is the best version of an undercoat brush I’ve ever purchased, and I’ve tried several. I looked for a version that was compared to the Furminator, which I’ve wanted for a while but did not want to spend the $30+ on. I have two cats, one short- and one medium-hair. Traditional brushes barely work on my shorthair, and don’t at all on my medium-hair, but they sure shed. I typically have to lint roll everywhere they sleep daily, which adds time, cost, and effort of cleaning that I’d much rather spend with my cats themselves. However, this specific “deshedding tool” has changed the game entirely. I could make a new cat with all the fur I’ve gotten off of them using this product. After a week of 10-20 minutes a day with each of them, I am barely having to lint roll my furniture — it takes 2-4 roller sheets to do what used to take upwards of 15-20. Hallelujah! Plus, my cats really enjoy this — they see the comb and get excited. They are even willing to let me do their tails gently with this! It’s special time for them, and they both look so sleek when we’re done. My one cat will usually get so overstimulated by brushing that she licks herself to the point of hairballs, and that has not happened once with this — no excess grooming, and it’s actually removing the hair instead of just running over it, so zero hairballs, at all. I was so impressed that I immediately bought my mom one for her cat, too. Comb seems very sturdy, design is straightforward; the bristles are short enough that they are not uncomfortable for the cats, but compact enough that they glide efficiently through to remove the dense undercoat. My best tip for use: comb in quick, “harsh” strokes so that the hair collects at the base of their back, not on the comb itself. Gets the most off and makes cleanup easy.

The brush works okay. You see the results when you brush. Does it remove more than a regular brush? I don’t think so. I get as much hair out with a regular brush. The hair just gets stuck in the bristles. At least you don’t have to clean the hair out of the brush.

This comb is superior to any brushes we have had. Our dog has medium length fur and this comb removes his shedding hair well is easy on his skin.

Use this on our cat to get rid of her excess fur. She loves getting brushed with it.

Poorly and cheaply made item, the button fell off straight away when I went to attach the comb to the handle :/ didn’t even have time to test it on the dog!
