I have had years of progressively worsening vasomotor rhinitis. Tried steroids, prescription antihistamine sprays, various oral antihistamines (caused me to dream all bloody night long), and other meds I can't even remember with no relief. When I got desperate, I would use Afrin as a "treat" so I could remember what it was like to get air through my nose for a day. Had a procedure twice to open us nasal passages, but within weeks they closed up again due to inflammation. This winter it reached the place where I went months with only 2 to 3 hours of sleep a night (the nasal congestion causes a mild sleep apnea to become significant, waking me after a couple hours gasping for air and triggering an anxiety that kept me up for the rest of the night--I was literally afraid to go to bed because I knew what was coming). I also ran my wife out of the room with my snoring. I was barely functioning during the day, getting more depressed with each passing week. I finally got fed up, started eating well (very few processed foods), using fish oil (antiinflammatory), and exercising regularly--this seemed to provide some relief. Saw recommendation for SinuSoothe and thought what the heck. I agree, it burns the nose and tastes terrible when it drips down my throat, but it SIGNIFICANTLY reduced the rhinitis within days, so who cares? :-) I have used it daily for three weeks, initially 2 sprays in each nostril 5 or 6 times a day, but am now down to single sprays 3 times a day. I have never written a review of any product in my life, but the amount of relief this spray has given me simply demanded that I do so. I sleep through the night and my wife stays there with me(in fact, she snores louder than I do now!) Now that I'm sleeping, my depression is gone and I actually have some motivation and energy again. I am certain that lifestyle changes have helped, but I am amazed at how much the SinuSoothe arrests the inflammation in my nose.

I was born with very narrow sinus passages. One side is somewhat deviated -- over the years, it has almost completely collapsed. My sinusitis has become chronic -- my doctor says it will only get worse with time--but that a reconstructive operation might help. I have chosen not to have the operation, so far. Sinus infection seems to hit me about every few weeks now. I have always been somewhat of a health nut and do not like using drugs or traditional medical treatments. Once I did use steroids and antibiotics to get rid of a really painful sinus infection-- but usually I find I can get over a sinus infection using natural remedies. Because of my malformed nasal passages I am always on the lookout for relief and better nasal hygiene. I have used various mixtures and brands which have pepper extract as their main ingredient-- at first, the pepper spray opened up my sinuses really well; but I have found that if I use pepper spay too often that it becomes less effective in keeping my passages open. (I now only use pepper spay infrequently as a shock-blast method to open a clamped-down sinus passage--then I spray a microbe killer into the opened passage to get rid of the infection). Microbe killers such as olive leaf extract sprays & oregano leaf extract sprays do work for me -- but to date, all the brands of this type that I have tried leave my sinus passages really dry (I sometimes get nosebleeds after using them). SinuSoothe's more extensive list of ingredients does away with the side effects I used to have: no more dry nose and dry throat for me. SinuSoothe is, so far, in my book the best out there. When I spray SinuSoothe up my nose it lets me know it is there--I like the kick--feels like it is working! SinuSoothe opens my closed passages and kills the microbes causing the infection--but with no nosebleeds. My sinus passages stay moist and do not dry out. And I do not get the heavy postnasal mucus running down the back of my throat that other sprays use to give me. Instead, I find the saliva at the back of my throat to be very thin and almost sweet: SinuSoothe dissipates my thick, choking mucus turning it into the pleasantly light, easy-to-swallow secretions I remember from my youth.
