Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Soothing Gel - Vegan Facial Moisturizer for All Skin types, 5.9 Fl Oz (175ml)

My favorite Korean skincare brand! I love the soothing gel because it feels light and refreshing on the skin. I like to use this on days I feel really dry (like after swimming in the pool). The gel absorbs really fast on the skin. It’s not greasy and doesn’t have a smell! I recommend for ppl with really dry skin to try this out!

Y’all have NO idea how excited I am to have found Illyoon moisturizer. Let me set the scene: I have eczema and my skin is irritated by absolutely everything. Eczema + Sensitive skin doesn’t even cover it because I’m irritated by ingredients very common in sensitive skin products that work for other people with eczema. I found a Korean moisturizer that I liked and was a big improvement for my skin but still had me a little dry in the winter and was expensive. On top of that, I’ve had horrible eczema on my hands my entire life. I’m cracked and bleeding this time of year (winter) always, no matter what I try, and I hate the sensory experience of lotion on my hands. I decided to give this Illyoon moisturizer a try about 6 weeks ago and GAME CHANGER. Zero eczema flare on my face this winter AND my hands are in great shape!! I haven’t even been doing anything but putting a bit of Illyoon on my hands when I do my face. No hand masks, spa gloves, scrubs, oils, overnight deep moisturizers that were barely helping anyway. Sensory experience is great. It’s light, it doesn’t feel greasy and melts right in. I don’t notice any stickiness with it either. And on top of all of that it’s so much more affordable than any other good quality moisturizer I’ve used. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could!

I have really oily, sensitive, acne prone skin and needed a soothing, hydrating moisturizer when I started using tretinoin. Many of the skin barrier creams I tried clogged my pores even worse and just felt greasy and heavy. I decided to try this moisturizer because it is an oil free gel cream. I use it day and night because it doesn’t feel thick, greasy or sticky and keeps my skin hydrated and no clogged pores or breakouts. Before makeup - klairs oil free supple preparation toner, naturium niacinamide + zinc serum and follow with this moisturizer. At night after double cleansing I layer this moisturizer first and then apply tretinoin. Great value for the price.

I'm a little on the fence about this one. It has a nice gel-cream texture that glides on easily and so a little really does go a long way. I think that generally it's been gentle on my hypersensitive skin; it doesn't burn or cause redness and it doesn't seem to clog my pores. However, it leaves sort of a shiny, tacky, plasticky looking film over my skin, like I wouldn't describe it as even "dewy" but it looks kind of like those clear blackhead masks that you have to peel off once they dry. Obviously you can't peel this moisturizer off but that's just kind of how it looks. It does "dry down" from that and leave skin feeling very nice and soft, but it's takes it a really long time so you look a bit shiny for a while. Also I have a suspicion that it was making my eyes burn just from being on the skin near them, though I haven't retested the theory just yet. I'm sure I'll still use it, but it's just not at the top of my favorite moisturizers list. I was hesitant to try it in the first place because I've heard this is a brand that does very frequent (and non-beneficial to the consumer) reformulations, so I didn't want to get attached to this and then have the brand ruin it a year later. But I gave it a shot. It's not my holy grail right now, which is probably for the better, but it's at least usable, and will be a nice light texture cream for summer. Unrelated to this review but I feel I should mention, I had really wanted to try their heavier weight cream, but realized it has fairly highly comedogenic oils in it (canola, soybean), so I opted for this one instead. But if it ends up being my go-to for summer, I hope they don't start adding breakout-oils to this one too.

Perfect for oily/ combination skin. It gives a glass skin look and I love the large squeeze bottle worth the money and value.

I've tried load of creams professing they were non-sticky, fragrance free. I was always disappointed till I found Acure Seriously Soothing 24hr Moisture Lotion, which was great, but it is always out of stock. I consulted AI and it recommended this Illiyoon Facial Moisturizer as it was identical to Acure's ingredients. I never heard of Illiyoon before and would have never tried it except for AI so I bought a tube. Boy, I'm glad I did! It is TRULY non-sticky and makes my skin feel ultra silky smooth. I live in Michigan and the winters are brutal on my skin, which is always so dry and itchy. I know this is a facial moisturizer but I use it all over especially on my ankles and shins. It works so beautifully I came back and ordered another tube. I'd give it a 10 star rating if I could! You can't go wrong with this product! Very highly recommended!!!

Great for anything but the face. Which is what I bought it for. Leaves some oils on the face which clogged my pores. Great non scented in hands/feet tho

I love this brand so much, I have extremely sensitive-dry skin and this always smooths my face, I do think it’s a bit thin and prefer their illiyoon ceramide cream more, texture is soft and this one is light weight as well and leaves no sticky residue and gives a glow! But the cream is better.

I've been using this for few days now and it's been good so far. The many moaiturizer I've tried before either make something grow on my face, or either too greasy or too light etc, there's always something. But this one has been pretty nice, if you have sensetive skin and want non-gresy but also not lightweight (just the right amount) then i'd say go for this. Hopefully you're skin will like it as much as mine does. I'll update this review if anything changes.

The gel is very fast absorbing, no greasy residue. It took care of my extremely dry skin quite quickly.
