My 3rd Bag! A Great Way to Hit Your "30 Plants a Week" Target
I have just purchased this 1.4kg UnbelievaBowl Organic Super Porridge for the third time, and it is now a permanent staple in my pantry. While the blend is traditionally marketed for overnight oats - which can be a healthy, quick snack - I have found it to be the ultimate base for batch-cooked baked oats. Working with Individual Tolerances 🥣 I’m aware that minimal processing is generally better for health, but we all have to work within the limits of our individual digestive tolerances. I personally cannot tolerate raw "overnight" oats. By pre-soaking this mix in yogurt or kefir and then baking it, I create a nutrient-dense, cake-like breakfast that is much easier on my system. It stays moist and delicious all week, making it perfect for those of us who need to meal-prep. Why this is a "Top-Tier" Choice in 2026 • Plant Diversity Shortcut: With the 2026 focus on gut health, hitting the "30 plants a week" target is essential. This mix contains 25 superfoods (including chia, hemp, flax, goji berries, and cacao nibs), meaning you tick off nearly a third of your weekly diversity goal in one bowl! 🍓🥜🌾 • Functional Nutrition: It’s a powerhouse - one serving has as much fiber as 5 apples and more protein than an egg. It is also high in magnesium and thiamin, which genuinely helps combat mid-morning fatigue. Overall, this is a filling and nutritious porridge. 🍎🍏🍎🍏🍎 🍳 • Heart Health: Two servings provide 95% of your daily oat beta-glucan (2.85g), which is scientifically proven to lower cholesterol. ❤️ • Incredible Value: At just 71p per serving, this is significantly cheaper than buying 25 separate organic ingredients. The bulk 1.4kg bag is also a much more sustainable choice than smaller packets. 💷 What’s Next? This blend is so versatile that my next project is formulating a high-protein flapjack recipe using these oats. ✅ The Verdict Whether you are using it for a quick snack or a batch-bake, this is the most cost-effective way to get high-quality, organic superfoods into your diet without any artificial sweeteners or refined sugars. If you’re a busy meal-prepper, this is a must-buy!

Overpriced and over-rated
For the price point I was expecting a really delicious porridge. When I opened the packet it looked, frankly, a bit bland/brown/underwhelming. I've taken a photo of what the packet tells you it looks like - all colourful.... and how it actually looks. There didn't seem to be many mulberries at all, and alot of caco nibs which when tasted were pretty sour. It didn't blend that well for porridge on the hob, so I would say it is better as a muslei & yoghurt or milk breakfast. I was not blown away by the taste - and it made me think I could probably do better by mixing my own oats, seeds and dried berries. To be fair I did get a refund, though I still think this should be not more than £8-10 max price wise.

Good Quality
Love this. Great quality oats with plenty of seeds and other bits in.

Boring and bland
Tasted very bland. I can't find my usual Bio and Me super seedy and nutty porridge anywhere so this was suggested by Amazon' s algorithm as the next best thing. It's very tasteless and the texture is like chewing damp cardboard. Plus, I'm not a fan of having to soak the oats, I always forget to do it. Too inconvenient. I'll be passing this nearly full bag to a friend and hope they'll still speak to me after they've tasted it themselves.

The Great Superfood Search: A Costly Bowl of Regret
Buying into the "superfood" hype often feels like a gamble, but at £18 for a 1.4kg bag, the stakes for Your UnbelievaBowl are notably high. When you compare this to a reliable 1kg bag of Flahavan’s Organic Oats for just £3.25, you are essentially paying a £14.75 premium for that promised 25% superfood blend. For that kind of markup, you expect to see a vibrant explosion of seeds, goji berries, or cacao nibs the moment you open the seal. Unfortunately, the reality is far less visual. Even after giving the bag a vigorous shake to counteract any settling during transit, the "super" elements remain elusive to the naked eye. It feels less like a nutritional powerhouse and more like an expensive bag of standard oats with a homeopathic dusting of extras. While the convenience of a pre-mixed bag is the main selling point, the math simply doesn't add up when the visual and textural evidence of those premium ingredients is missing. If you are looking for a hearty, organic breakfast, you are much better off sticking with the Flahavan’s and spending a fraction of that extra fifteen pounds on separate bags of chia seeds, flax, or hemp hearts. That way, you actually know what you’re eating rather than feeling like you've been "robbed" by clever marketing and an empty promise of 25% density.
