Perfect solution to worn out diesel pump.
I keep this pump mounted to the side of containment area for diesel by my boat dock. It's in a salt water environment so we will see how it holds up. I have it wired for 240 and just power it whenever I need it with an extension cord with 6-20 ends on it to identify the 240. I have a filter beyond the pump with all galvanized piping and with 1' fuel transfer hose at 35". Took my fueling time from 30 minutes with worn out pump to 10 minutes.

"This thing moves some fuel!"
This pump is an absolute workhorse and deserves every one of its five stars for its sheer power, reliability, and time-saving capabilities. The standout feature is definitely the 35 GPM flow rate; it cuts our fueling time by at least two-thirds compared to the smaller pumps we used to use. The cast-iron construction means it's built to last and can handle the rugged demands of farm and heavy equipment use without issue. The motor runs reliably with thermal overload protection, so you don't have to worry about it overheating during a long job. It's compatible with a wide range of fuels, including gasoline, diesel, and kerosene, which adds to its versatility. Overall, this Fill-Rite FR311VB 115V/230V 35 GPM Fuel Transfer Pump is a high-quality, heavy-duty investment that makes refueling large tanks a quick and painless process. It's worth every penny and an immense improvement over standard pumps.

So far so good. Put this on a 500 gallon barrel to pump diesel fuel fast. I just used a length of 1.25 inch black pipe for the suction tube. Timed it out, pumps 3 times faster then my old pump.

I really love this fuel pump
I really love this fuel pump! Sure it costs more than some others, but there is a reason for that. High quality pump.

experience with purchase
I am well satisfied except I was charged tax and I have farm use card which exempts it in Oklahoma. when I saw I was being charged I contacted supplier and completed form for exemption but was still charged making it cost more than I could have bought it locally.

Factory defect.
I installed this pump last August to replace 19 year old Fill Rite pump. I noticed 2 bolt heads laying on top of motor a few days ago while fueling my pickup. Thought somebody might have been vandalizing my pump but didn't make sense. A couple days later I noticed more broken bolts! I appears the bolts are defective and possibly overtightened at factory?? Hopefully someone will contact me about this problem and help me remedy. Its just a matter of time before the meter starts leaking fuel!!
