Zassenhaus Pepper and Salt Mill Set, Wenge and Olive Wood, 7.0 Inch

These are beautiful and well made. We keep the salt on a fine grind which works well for our needs. We usually use the pepper on a fine grind as well but it is easily adjusted to a courser grind for cooking. The peppercorns I use (black, green, white and pink) are a bit moist and seem to have no problems in the grinder. I am very happy with these and look forward to many years with a quality product!

Beautiful and well made as one would expect from Zassenhaus.Nothing to fault and IMHO worth the price (should last forever) and the wait for transatlantic shipping.

Thought about another brand, but read multiple reviews on Amazon. Was convinced that there is nothing like quality and Zassenhaus was the way to go. Handsome. Functional. Flawless in their operation. We expect years of quality service out of the set. After they arrived, we were so pleased with the set for the table, we ordered a smaller set (acrylic and stainless steel) just for cooking.

These are by far the best salt and pepper mills we’ve ever owned. They are a nice size - kind of understated - but they grind very quickly, quietly and easily. It’s great to have the 6 different settings for coarseness as we often want a coarser grind while cooking than at the table.

These are the best salt and pepper grinders you can buy. I recommend also buying the stand to keep your countertop free of small salt and pepper granules.
