Absolutely gorgeous bowls. They are really pretty and I am basically happy with them. The thing is, I've used them 1/2 dozen or so times now and I have noticed that the matte black finish on the outside really shows every smudge/fingerprint very easily. Sometimes, they come out of the dishwasher clean and those smudges are still there. The second thing is that they are quite small. Again, they are great overall. I plan on keeping them and using them time and time again, but I thought I'd point those things out.

These are a nice, classic rice bowl shape. Packaging was perfect upon arrival. Two of the bowls had chips on the rim, one had a crack all the way through the side of the bowl, and the glaze made me wonder who approved this set for sale, because they look like they were taken from the trash. When I picked up one bowl, a piece broke off the side. The set of bowls was clearly substandard, and the seller did not respond to my question. All in all, a dismal failure.

The bowls are smaller than I would like, and one was broken! No reason for it to be broken as much as it was. Will replace. Otherwise nice bowls that match my sushi set.

Beautiful, delicate looking and just the right size for side dishes, dips...etc. One arrived broken so I contacted the vendor and they promptly sent a replacement bowl.

Perfect size for a bowl of rice. Quality is outstanding. Packed very well so no chips and issues. Love the color and so much better than those plastic bowls.
