My son and I have been eager to try this painting technique for a while, but didn't want to invest in a ton of supplies just for a one time craft. This kit was the perfect way to try out this popular medium without feeling overwhelmed by a large craft supply list or things you may not use soon enough. We had watched several youtube videos on this craft though and thought it would be fun to try at a craft studio or something. Most studios are closed at this time, so this works great. It comes with everything you need to create a fun and imaginative experience doing water marbling on a canvas, a piece of paper, and even on some of our wooden ornament discs. Fair warning to those trying it on wood, make sure you leave plenty of time to dry before painting on top, and you may need to do two tries of the technique because wood is porous. It didn't take long for us to get the hang of it and the one kit was just enough to quench our thirst on trying this artistic painting style. If you have gloves, I highly recommend wearing them. (the disposable kind) This gets very messy, and green and blue definitely stain more. We enjoyed it a lot though and would definitely buy another kit for a friend as a gift or try another kit from this brand because it was well designed.

Very Important!! A “2 hour Preparation Time” is not stated in the beginning, my grandchildren were very disappointed, because they couldn’t finish the arts and crafts project planned. We used the paint for a completely different project and threw away the non-useable setting gel.

Product missing items. Company shipped the item as-is with no packaging. Shipping sticker stuck right on the box. Covered up the front of the box. This was during Christmas and was a gift so. That took away a good first impression. And since it was not in any packaging the box was mangled and opened and missing items... missing some paint and some other items. And there were no instructions. Not sure if that is how it is or if they just fell out. It was smaller than expected. I would not order again or recommend.

My girls and I had so much fun using this marbling kit. We made marbled paper as well as dipped plastic ornament balls to fill up the tree with, and to give as gift this holiday season.

This was a fun kit to use with my boys. Easy and not too messy with supervision. I’ve always wanted to try marbling and this had all I needed for a first attempt.
