Working well.
For Sony Bravia TV arrived promptly, the next day with Prime I am happy because this TV does not work like others. Without the remote it can only be turned on and off but I was able to get the channels using my cable remote. So happy it came on time.

Very good back up for Sony TV
To open back side of the remote and insert two AAA batteries you must push down in the upper middle part of the remote backside with either a thumb or two thumbs, push down in the center near the top and slide down below the infrared sensor or use a tiny glasses screwdriver to create a gap and open from the top and then push down and slide off. You then can I add two AAA batteries for the remote to work. You do not have to press any code if you’re using for Sony TVs, including XBR,Bavaria etc… The remote works really well. Just make sure before you slide cover back up the way you pull down make sure that the power button turns on and off for the TV and all the other features such as input and settings work just as well.Cons: you might have to press certain buttons more than once to get the remote to do what you would like. The plain white box that it camein had no instructions as far as opening and inserting batteries inside the remote. You would think for the amount of money spent they could include that. The only small paper instructions were how to use voice mail through settings, and Bluetooth and that was it.Otherwise, I would definitely recommend unless you could find a cheaper remote, which there are some such as:https://a.co/d/5tqiPNs which Quran about six dollars-$7 and some change The remote does seem of good quality and is it a Zack duplicate of the Sony original remote that came with the TV when purchased new

Not a seemless switch-over.
The magic remote is somewhat "the same" one I got with my TV. When that one started to break apart within the control wheel I decided to get a backup unit. I switched to the new remote and lost some functionality that I had with the original... Set-top cable box and soundbar to be specific. After a couple of weeks of trying to sync these two units with both remotes, I've done my fair share of deep-diving owner manuals to solve the mystery of getting universal control with the magic remote. Bottom line... I would have expected the smart TV magic remote to easily step into the same role as the previous one. Be ready to reconfigure your external boxes to relearn the basic IR commands. On the positive side, it does all the functions with the TV, with little effort.

Connects automatically
This was great! Came with no instructions, didn't need any! Just slide the back off, put in your batteries and enjoy!

Already broken 6 months later
Our actual Sony remote got crushed in our recliner so we had to get this one. The talk function doesn't work even though you can press the button - it just doesn't record your voice. Now, after 6 months the remote is broken. We thought it was dead batteries but the actual response is not the button you're pressing. We press "Home" and it pops up with TV settings which is obnoxious. It just stopped working out of the blue.Do yourself a favor and buy a real Sony one, you won't regret it.

Bad sensitivity, be aware to install battery first
With some lag but it functions well, however, only when you really point the remote to the corner of the TV where the receptor is located, much worse sensitivity compare to the original remote.Secondarily there’s no where mentioned in the instruction paper that batteries are needed but not included. And it takes quite some efforts to open it up for battery insertion.
