Colored Pencils Pre-Sharpened Colored Pencil Set with Eraser and Sharpener (60-Piece)

I am so impressed with these colored pencils! I have Prismacolors, Derwent Colorsoft and Faber-Castell colored pencils - all soft leaded and extremely good pencils. I also have Crayolas and Sargents (both are harder leads). These Colore pencils are in-between soft and hard. I'd say they rank closer to the super soft-leaded expensive pencils than they do to the harder leaded pencils. The lead is almost as soft as the more expensive brands. The color is very rich, vibrant and they are smooth. In coloring, sometimes it is nice to have harder leaded pencils which lay down really smooth color and for that I recommend Crayola. And my favorite soft leaded pencils? Best of all is the price of these pencils - you just can't beat them for the price. If price is a concern then I would recommend these above all others for coloring.On the down side, the wood sometimes is funky and difficult to sharpen but this has been of fairly minor concern so far.

For a $20 pencil set, this one is pretty nice.Pros: the pigments are really vibrant and the leads are soft-but-not-too-soft. The eraser is nice, and although the pigments don't necessarily erase, I'm not sure I'd want them to. But I use the eraser for my sudoku puzzles all the time. The set is inexpensive and in general I really enjoy coloring with them.Cons: The picture in the description makes it look like you can use the box like a case... yeah no way. It's flimsy plastic and actually, when mine arrived, all the pencils had been jostled out and were sitting in the bottom of the box AND the sharpener was nowhere to be found! The pencils are not labeled, so I have to mark them with hash marks or numbers if I want to put a project aside for later. Some of the pencils have given me a really hard time when sharpening. I try to be careful but the leads do break. Although there are a lot of colors, some of them are really similar, and it seems like the set has a LOT of green and brown but like one orange...? Finally, some of the colors are really dissimilar to how they're painted on the other end.The truth is, that while I think these pencils are a little bit of a pain in the behind, I love them. I accidentally left them at home when I moved for my summer internship, so I picked up a pack of whatever BJ's had... it's not the same. I miss these ones.

Nice set of color pencils at a great price. Comes with a nice plastic case, sharper, and eraser. These are soft core leads and work well in blending and shading, while there are no color names on the pencils themselves they have the color coded on the end of the pencils which reflect their colors well. They are premium pigments with a rich color and sharpen well without breakage of the leads. They have 60 colors and for the price a good starting set. Product came on time. If you have pre kinder children the color matching at the end of the pencils is very helpful.

SEE UPDATE BELOW: The pencils color and shade as described. Unfortunately, the case is c***. I gave this item such a high "score" because of the variety of colors and the quality for the price.UPDATE: I'm updating my review after using them. They *do* color and shade as described, but they are very soft and wear down very quickly. Also, since the color name is not written on the pencil, it is hard to match various areas of the project. There are a variety of colors, but some of them are VERY close, so having the name on the pencil is important. I *will not* purchase these again.

I recently took up adult coloring and have been trying different kinds of colored pencils. My favorite hands down is Prismacolor, however the steep price tag to purchase all the colors I need right away is not in my budget. I took a chance on these pencils and I have not been disappointed. They came completely intact with no broken lead. As a matter of fact none of them have broken even while sharpening. These make a great addition to my collection and rank among my favorites. I highly recommend them! BTW I did not get free or discounted product to write this. Not even sure how people do that lol. Happy coloring!

I love the colors of this set but I absolutely abhor the quality. The case had to be thrown away as it just falls open and pencils go everywhere. The biggest problem is that you will sharpen the pencil and go to use it, not color specific as it is at least half, and the colored lead/crayon whatever it is falls out of the wood! its almost like the wood is too big or not fitted around the actual color part. It is very annoying as it happens over and over so I just gave up using them. Guess I am going to have to spend the extra and get Prismacolor.

I read all the reviews before buying these and I was super excited... Until I actually used them. Several came with broken tips right out of the box/package. I used the sharpener that was included and it just seemed to eat through the pencils. Eventually I used another sharpener I own from an Expensive brand of pencils and it worked. However by that time half of the pencil was already "gone" before I even started to color. ☹️Leads were broken inside the shaft since several fell out as I colored.The colors are pretty and go down well. However the set is a lot of work and stress during a time when I want to just relax and play.

My gf loved them. They are good quality and at a great deal. You will need to get a Canvas Pencil Wrap or pencil box to keep them neat. I think the pencils were a great buy. After this purchase and seeing how much my gf loved them, I decide to upgrade.
