I haven't actually used it yet! It's just arrived and after putting the water and coffee in I realised it wasn't suitable for my induction hob. [I thought it stated that it was suitable] so I've bought an induction hob converter which is the best solution as I didn't want to send this back. I'll update my review when I have used it...UPDATEI am very happy with my coffee maker. I bought smooth coffee grounds but because you only need a small amount of coffee I will go for more robust coffee grounds next time…

I received my order and rinsed it first with hot water. Then I used it the first time just to flush it with water and then proceeded to do the same with coffee, to find shards of alloy! I repeated this 3 more times and still had shards of alloy in my coffee from where the holes have been drilled in the system. Very unhappy, I only bought this as we was in Italy last week a family member bought the same one from there and it had no issues. Certainly no splinters of alloy debris!
