An awarding winning series
This series won several awards during its long run. The story of high school crushes turned adult love, it is certainly one to read. It's a unique love story. Yes, it does fall into melodrama at times and it can be a bit cliched. But, it's still a solid series. If you can, I would also suggest watching the anime and the two films based on the series.
