Q: What colour are the flakes themselves (of these fluval bug bites colour enhancing flakes)?

They are a dull light red/pink colour. Not the same intensity of colour as shown on the packaging.

Q: I usually use the old fluval colour enhance flakes with krill. my fish has large mouth are the flakes a good size or is this tiny flakes

They're not big flakes and the further through the pot you get the flakes get smaller and smaller.

Not sure about the colour enhancing bit!. But the fish do like it and eat every bit of it. I bought the 18g pot it has lasted me for months. Will be purchasing again.
