Nice but Lightweight and Screws Show
For the money, this is a substantial cat tree. Three stories of perches and the one inside cubby is so cute! My complaints:The screws show after assembly. Super disappointing. And the cats will definitely feel it because,The fur lining on this cat tree is pretty thin. You can feel the hard board right underneath it like knocking on wood. Also, the outer removable edge boarder on the top piece is just that. Not sturdy, which in an if itself isn’t the end of the world, but my cats like to really curl up in a confined space on the tree, and they don’t seem thrilled with the flexible border. I had to put a towel in the top part to cover the screws. I bought this larger tree to replace a smaller one I have so it’s more level with the window and they can look out while chilling. But they seem to still prefer the smaller one. See pics. Disappointing.I probably won’t return it since my husband already assembled the whole thing, and it’s really not expensive. If this tree had a solid upper edge and thicker carpeting, and maybe some circular sticky-back matching pieces to cover the screws, it would be a real winner! But all that said, given the pricepoint, it’s not a bad purchase. Even though I’m not sure my cats will use it.

Cat took a while to warm up to it but now she’s in love!
Bought this tree before I took my cat home from the shelter thinking she would love it right away. It was really easy to set up and looks nice. She is an adult cat but pretty light, only about 10 lbs. The first time I put her on it, even though it was securely leaned up against a wall, it wobbled side to side when she tried to hop down. In an effort to break her fall, she tried to grab on to the free edge of the top perch which is NOT secured to the tree other than with an elastic for tension and she hit the floor. Needless to say she was spooked and refused to touch this tree… until today. She refuses to use any of the other cat beds or sleeping spaces I bought for her (sigh) and instead sleeps on the back of the couch for a perfect window view. This was ~whatever~ until I noticed she was newly tearing apart the curtains next to her spot on the couch. In an effort to save my curtains, I moved the cat tree into the living room. I put it right up against a window facing the same direction as her favorite one on top of the couch, and she has not moved ONCE since I put her up there a few hours ago. I guess putting it in her favorite spot made her willing to try it again. She is not usually into small/confined spaces, but for some reason is currently loving the little cubby at the bottom and was hanging out down there scratching at the inside (as long as it isn’t my couch or curtains, fine by me lol). This SAVED me from ruined curtains and a destroyed new couch!I would give this five stars for it being a life saver, but it gets 3.5 rounded up to 4 for the base being a bit too wobbly and the top edge not being securely attached to the perch. This must be placed firmly against a wall or baseboards in order to be mostly secure. I would worry about a chunkier/larger cat tipping this over with minor use. This is a little picky, but also don’t love the excess carpet-ish fabric on the scratching posts. She is going to tear that to shreds. Overall though, really happy with the ease of assembly & moving, height, amount of scratching posts, and level of enrichment for such an affordable product!

love
my cats love it, i have 2, one is 12 pounds and one is 6, they race around on it and play and it has yet to fall over. very very stable. the top and bottom area fit my unit of a 12 pounder. so that is good. only issue is that the border cushion thing on the top doesnt hold up against the cats jumping up very well, falls off constantly and they are left suffering trying to sleep on the top without neck support lol. very easy to assemble. great price. get it!

Decent for the price
My kitties are getting on in years, and I no longer wanted them going up high on the old cat tree (different brand / vendor) I ordered this unit as a replacement because it's much closer to the ground but still gives them a perch to climb. The instructions are a one page illustration with arrows pointing at various objects. Still I managed to put the thing together in about 15 minutes. Most people will be able to do it without much fuss. Because it's low to the ground, it's not as wobbly as some of the larger cat trees...overall I'd give this a 3.75 / 5. They've used plastic in some places where I would have liked to see metal...but again it'll hold up just fine under most cases.

holds my fat cats just fine
I have a high table that has the cat's water fountain on it. They never had a problem getting on and off the table. And often they would use the chair to kind of help them if they had a problem. But they're starting to get a little bit older and the chair is a little high for them. And I was watching one of my cats contemplate jumping on the table and then she decided not to. So I bought this to help them get up on the table and get their water. It works like a charm. They just step up step up, step up and onto the table and drink their water and then step down step down step down. They sleep in the little hidey hole and play with the little ball. It was pretty easy to put together except for getting the four posts into the hidey hole. But I have two other towers that also have a hidey hole like that and it was the exact same thing. So it's not a problem with this particular unit, it's just a problem with trying to get any piece like that together. Two of my cats weigh 18 plus pounds each and they sleep on the top of it and it's sturdy enough for them. The baby sleeps up there as well and I don't worry about him falling off. They love the scratching posts. I have no complaints about it at all.

Hard to assemble
I’m no Bob the builder at all, but it seemed easy. It was a little difficult to assemble. Took me about an hour. I finally got it together and it’s great. Love the compact design, but still very efficient for 1 kitten.

Decent for the price
For the price it is not a bad cat tree. It is perfect for the area I needed it for. It isn't high quality but for this price I wasn't expecting it to be. I can see the fabric ripping easily as it isn't the traditional carpeting. Overall I am pleased with it.

Good medium size cat climber
Bought for friends cat and cat loves it. My friend has put it in between his two chairs in the front room.Easy to put together with good instructions.Fitted on seat in back of car when put together. It is not small it is a medium size and is good if you don’t want a huge cat climber.Covering well-made and solid.
