Nintendo Game & Watch series, Super Mario Bros. edition (EU version) Nintendo has a reputation for making well designed, reliable gaming hardware, coupled with addictive and entertaining, family friendly gameplay. This handheld is no exception. This unit contains 3 games and a clock/alarm function. Of course there’s the classic, original Super Mario Bros. game that we all know and love. It also includes Super Mario Bros. 2, but it should be noted that this is not the typical U.S. release of SMB2 for the NES. It’s actually a colorized version of Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels, which was released on the original Nintendo Gameboy platform. It’s similar in style to the original SMB but has different levels. Lastly, there’s a nostalgic throwback game called Ball, which is a simple juggling game where Mario has to toss and catch a set of balls at varying speeds. Ball is designed to mimic the monochromatic LCD screen look of the original Game & Watches from the ‘80s. Other features are: built in battery that provides for hours of unplugged gameplay, a modern USB C charging interface, responsive tactile buttons in a classic NES controller layout, Pause function, built in speaker that produces surprisingly loud and clear audio, and a clock/timer with alarm function. All this at a modest price of under $60 makes this game well worth it for any Nintendo or Mario fan.

My grandson absolutely loves this! I purchased this for him a while back and he still plays with it. He is 6 years old and they do not do phones or tablets nor does he have a video game system yet. He loves Mario and enjoys playing this game so much both at home and in the car on both short and long rides, often playing it while waiting in the long car line at school. The battery life is great, the size is perfect for little hands, and the product is well made and sturdy.

the battery life is great i got this on Tuesday, charged it for about 2 hours, im writing this review on Sunday and i have only used two bars. me and the kids play this about 2 to 3 hours a day. you only get two games and a mini game but the two games have everything from the original nes versions. stuff that a lot of emulators miss. and this is the first hand held emulator where the movement feels right. crisp and responsive. you could get emulators for your phone but i think those can be risky plus touch screen vs actual buttons. but if you are looking for cheap super Mario bros you could take the risk and find one for your phone. other hand held emulators ive played dont save your high score, this one does the clock is pretty fun to watch plus there are some hidden secrets in there. the only thing i would change is adding some more mini games. maybe 2-3 as we don't want to overload that battery. other than that id give this device a solid 10 cheeseburgers out of 14 lampposts.

If you’re in the market for a hand held gaming system, and love Mario, look no further! This was purchased for my three year old as his first video game system, to keep him entertained for traveling purposes and it surpasses expectations. It is the perfect size for little hands. The battery life is excellent and love that it’s rechargeable.

Really hard to not like. There are 2 really great aspects to this product: 1. It plays exactly* like the original Nintendo game... everything from colors, characters and even the playing motion even the original sounds/music. 2. Color screen. 3. I'll even add that the battery lasts much longer than what I had expected. . The 1 mini-gripe is the screen size. Its small, almost too small. Its 2 inch by 1 inch. So basically I have to game with my glasses on so keep that in mind if u plan on purchase. Otherwise its the same delightful game you loved when your parents bought you that Nintendo for Christmas.
