I bought this to remove old flaking paint from an iron handrail. It worked great for that purpose paired with a craftsman restorer. I also ended up using it to remove tree bark residue for a live edge epoxy table project I did. Worked great for that as well.

I've just used it for wire brushing wood, been messing with doing it after burning the wood to give strong grain texture. Has worked great and doesn't show any wear or issue. Seems really solid.

I'm learning Shou Sugi Ban, and hand brushing the wood was making them go numb. This is saving my hands and wrists and works great!

This is one of the best products for refreshing reclaimed wood! lifts and restores makes wood look new again!

I am using the wire drum on pine lumber to "age" it. I expected a more aggressive removal of the wood. It is a slow process even on the soft pine. It is also loosing a lot of the wire pieces.

It's a good wire wheel. It could stand to be a coarser wire, but overall its a good brush.
