The Lightweight, Easy to Install, Super Strong Temporary Door Lock. (Silver)

Update October 2015: have used any many hotels now. Doesn't always work at every hotel and the hole in the metal that latches onto the frame isn't big enough for many doors locks to go into. This means if anyone forces the door open the only lock is this lock and not the added security of the lock built into the door. So some hotels I've stayed at I couldn't use this. Would like to see an update to its design for a larger hole so the doors original locks can fit through it.----------------so far so good, i bought a few other hotel locks and this is the only one that works so far. going to try another more expensive one to make sure I have the best product on the market, but this is pretty great. Will try and kick the door in at my shack but in hotels this works good. will buy as gifts if the more expensive fails me like the rest of the garbage on amazon. this was a nice find.

The hole is too small for the bolt to go through. Only came in one size. Should specify the bolt size required in the description. Paid for shipping and now another shipping for return. Cost of shipping you can purchase other brands.

Works exactly as described. It's small and you can just toss it in your suitcase. Well worth the money. Took a min to get it fully figured out but now I am a pro.

It didn't fit through my door, how is this even a product if so many doors are like that? Start making different sizes but for now.... I want my money back!

Flimsy and can be jarred loose.

Tatsächlich scheitert das Gerät an zwei Stellen:Der Türschnäpper ist in der Regel größer, als die Aussparung in die er greifen soll.Dadurch (wie auch schon in anderer Rezension geschrieben) wird das Gerät zur einzigen Eindringsperre und dafür wirkt es (obwohl schon durchaus solide) auf mich etwas schwach. Würde ich Ihrer persönlichen Einschätzung überlassen...Echtes Problem:In Deutschland schließen die Türen in der Regel in einem Doppelfalz. Da das Sperrelement eine gerade Platte ist, funktioniert das gar nicht. Siehe Foto. Eine handwerkliche eigene Nachbearbeitung (Biegen der Platte in zwei rechtwinklige Abkantungen) möchte ich nicht.Daher für deutsche Kunden: i.d.R. keine Kaufempfehlung. Ganz klar vorher schauen, ob das Gerät eingesetzt werden kann.DANN ist es aber eine coole Sache.
