From the moment it arrived, the build quality was evident, and the fit was absolutely perfect. Installation was a breeze, taking a mere 10 minutes! Honestly, it probably would've been even faster if I'd grabbed the right screwdriver (a small flathead) on my first try. Once installed, these struts immediately provided the crucial support needed to hold up my car hood securely, adding that essential extra safety support when I'm working under the hood. I'm incredibly grateful for such an economically priced part for my car. If you're in need of this type of automotive component, I'd highly recommend it!

These front hood lift for my SUV fit perfectly. They are strong and better than the originals. They really hold your hood up tight. They were exactly the right size and went on easily with a small screwdriver to pry back the clip a little in less than 2 minutes for both. Definitely quality product I'd say they are better than the originals. As for the low price can't ask for any better. I wasn't expecting them to be as good as they are because of the low price. I would get them again

They were easy to install, had my 13 year old put them in. Works perfectly. Fit just like they should. And so far the quality is good. Will see how long they last.

I've been suffering from soft lifts for awhile now. Two years I kept a small locking pliers under the hood to use to hold the hood open so I wouldn't get another gash on the back of my neck. I can't believe I waited this long to do it. Getting this done for the hood on the Explorer now motivates me to do the tailgate lifts on my minivan when I get it back from the transmission shop. These things are so easy to replace. Get your locking pliers on one side and pop the old lift off the other side. Click the new lift in place. Remove the locking pliers, remove the other lift, click the other new one in place. Fit like they should, didn't have to fight them at all. One was enough to hold the hood open. Two makes it extra solid for those windy Oklahoma days. You will need to put a bit of effort into closing the hood if you use both of them, but that's exercise! Can't recall what I paid for these, I think $14 for the pair. It's an amazing value for sure!

I received these a day after ordering and installed them within minutes. I noticed the difference instantly. My hood opened up fully where as before, I would have to pull the hood up above my head area before it would stay open. Not sure how long they will last but so far so good.
