The Co-Pilot bike attachment is such a fun way to ride with kids! It connects securely to my bike, feels very stable, and gives my child the excitement of pedaling along without having to balance on their own. The setup was simple, and it detaches easily when not in use. My child loves feeling like part of the ride, and I love the extra safety and control it provides. A great investment for family rides—we’re making so many memories with this!

Awesome awesome awesome! I can’t count the number of smiles, thumbs-ups, and “cool bike” comment we got on the trail! We took our granddaughter on a 6.5 mile ride to a local park and home again and the addition of the co-pilot didn’t noticeably affect the e-bike’s performance—no trouble keeping it at top speed even with the extra weight, and we didn’t notice the battery running down any faster than normal either. Impressive because we live at the top of a long, steep hill and had some smaller hills and valleys along our path! (Idk if that’s a better testament to the Kazam co-pilot or the Aventon Aventure though.) My 5-year-old granddaughter cannot yet balance on a regular bike, but she was just fine on the Kazam co-pilot! It works great on my husband’s Aventon Aventure e-bike, but it would be difficult to attach to mine because my seat is too low. The other great thing is that the co-pilot still has plenty of grow-room in it too. For our 5-year old we put seat and handlebars pretty close to their lowest level, so it looks like it will still fit her for at least another couple years. She loved it so much; I wish Kazam would make a larger model for older kids or even adults!

Bought this for my 8year old who is on the autism spectrum and refused to learn to ride a bike. He loves it. It was easy to assemble my only complaint is that the fender is floppy and hits the tire sometimes. Other than that it seems to be a good quality bike/half of a bike.

Easy to set up and works well. Since kiddos are connected to you, one does not have to worry about them stopping or keeping up crossing the street etc. It appears well made and folds up when not in use, so it is easy to store. It is a great way to encourage cycling when going from training wheels to independent cycling.

My 13-year-old son with autism has wanted to go on bike rides for a long time, but he isn’t able to balance a bicycle on his own. This has been an amazing solution for us. Now he can come with me on longer rides, and he has such a great time. It’s definitely a workout for me, but this tag-a-long bike has been absolutely incredible and worth every penny.

I'm not very coordinated and my daughter is 5 and cannot yet ride a bike. We tried this out and it went amazing! It can be a little wiggly if your kid gets really rowdy but overall it's perfect. She said she felt safe the whole time and we didn't have any issues.

You will see several other reviews here stating that, despite the existence of a joint to allow the trailer to swivel during turns, the seatpost clamp on this trailer actually rotates to the sides when you ride. Those reviews are correct, but I just want to emphasize that this is not simply an annoyance--it's dangerous. The more the clamp rotates, the more the trailer rides behind you at a tilt. After leaving my driveway and making a broad turn down the street, my daughter was already riding at a dangerously-tilted angle behind me. Rotation around the seatpost occurs when you turn your bike to *any* degree--even a very wide, slow turn will cause the clamp to rotate significantly. The only way to straighten it out again is to turn in the other direction, or undo all four clamp bolts and reinstall it (but it will rotate again when you start riding). I could not find a way to prevent this rotation from happening. I tried tightening the clamp to a higher torque (the instructions did not include a torque spec for these bolts). This destroyed the plastic on the inside of the clamp and damaged my seatpost (see photo). And as other reviews have warned, once I tightened it to a certain point, it did not fix the problem but simply caused my ENTIRE SEATPOST and saddle to rotate any time we made a turn, rather than just the clamp itself--which presents an even more dangerous situation and risked further damage to my bike. Even if you plan on riding exclusively in a straight line, I still would not recommend attaching this trailer to a bike or placing a child on it. And even if you are willing to take the risk I've described here, I still would not recommend the product for the following reasons: 1. It arrived in a damaged box, with some superficial damage to the trailer inside, and a lot of dirt and even what appears to be some rust on the joints (see photos) 2. The plastic "pads" on either side of the seatpost clamp were already compromised (see photo), but will be damaged upon installation in any event. 3. Several of the bolts have torque specifications, ranging from 13nm to almost 30nm. The instructions tell you this, but if you don't own an adjustable torque wrench, you're going to have to just hope that you're torqueing them correctly. 4. Installation was not easy, in general, with two adults working together. It's heavy and cumbersome. 5. The deal-breaking defect in the seatpost clamp design does not present itself until you have already assembled the entire thing. Disassembly was not easy, and packing the product up for a return is going to be difficult because there were a lot of zip-ties and foam padding that we had to remove during assembly. I emailed Kazam asking for instructions or advice, and they replied that they couldn't help me.

We used this for our annual family trip to Mackinac Island. Highly recommend and would buy again! It paid for itself with 3 uses and is something we will use for several years with our young family. Easy to install, great pull, welds and paint was good, tire and parts were good quality, and easy on/off. The kids still talk about their “double bikes” and we love making the memories with them ❤️🚴‍♀️ High recommend!
