ECO hair gel was one of a number of hair gel brands that we have tried over the last several years; the others being Paul Mitchell, Gummy, Clear Ice and American Crew. After going through a 32oz container over the course of about six months during near daily use on myself and my three sons (with differing hair types and lengths), I can say that this gel has its PROS and only a few minor CONS. It works well, probably better for certain hair styles, so give the below a read and decide if this is what you are looking for. Even after trying a bunch of brands, ECO is the one we liked the best and coincidentally is exactly what our barber uses on the customers. Good luck. PROS: Strong hold Mild, if any smell A little product goes a long way Relatively inexpensive CONS: Can get a little flaky as the day goes on Looks natural but its hold does not last as long as others

Always does the job

I'm thoroughly impressed with the Eco Style Krystal Styling Gel. It's a great product that delivers on its promises, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone searching for a high-quality hair gel.

I have between 2c and 3a curls and this does a good job at holding my curl without it looking like I have gel on. The size was smaller than I thought it would be and in store you can get larger size for the same price.. but anyways, it doesn’t have really any smell and works pretty well. Would not recommend for a slick back though because it’s not THAT strong. I’d say it’s a light to medium hold gel.

Do not buy this product. The company is very deceptive with the size. The jar in the picture looks like the jars sold in the store. But this jar of gel is teeny tiny. Do not support a company who likes to defraud people.

I wanted a gel with hold and after a while I could comb my hair, but this gel went on like a holding gel but when dried there was no hold. Not good.

My Daughter plays competetive Soccer and slick backs are the thing. This gel has held her slick backs in place through an entire game. It does not leave your hair crusty or oily either.
