Nordic Ware Danish Ebelskiver Pan – A Cozy Kitchen Favorite
This pan is one of those quiet kitchen gems that instantly elevates a simple morning. The Nordic Ware Danish Ebelskiver Pan is beautifully made—solid, well-balanced, and designed to last. It heats evenly, which makes all the difference when you’re trying to get that perfect golden exterior without overcooking the inside. I love how versatile it is. Yes, it’s perfect for traditional ebelskivers, but it’s also great for savory bites, protein-packed breakfast balls, or even little dessert treats when you want something special without making a mess of the whole kitchen. The nonstick surface releases easily and cleans up without effort—no scraping, no soaking, no frustration. It feels thoughtful and intentional, which is exactly what I look for in kitchen tools I reach for again and again. If you enjoy slowing down, creating cozy moments, and making food that feels a little extra without being complicated, this pan is absolutely worth adding to your kitchen. Simple, classic, and beautifully functional.

Well-made, durable, and easy to use...once you get the hang of it!
I had one of these several years ago; however, it got misplaced in a move. My daughter requested homemade chocolate chip Aebelskivers for her birthday breakfast and I had only a few days lead time. Thankfully, Amazon had this in-stock and could have it delivered in the nick of time! Whew! This pan makes regular-sized Aebelskivers (which I wanted) rather than the mini ones. I used boxed Krusteaz buttermilk pancake mix instead of doing it 100% from scratch. I even did a small batch of apricot jam filled gluten-free Aebelskivers for myself with the g/f version of Krusteaz boxed buttermilk pancake mix. I have a gas stove so I recommend going "low and slow"...using low heat to ensure even cooking throughout the pancake ball and reduce the likelihood of burning. It washes up well with warm water, soap, and a dish brush. Best to avoid the dishwasher and abrasive cleaners/pads/sponges. This pan is a bit of an investment; nevertheless, I think it's worth it! Bonus: the pan also comes cooking instructions!

One Perfect Pan, A Thousand Perfect Puffs!
The Cadillac of pancake puff pans. Non-stick beyond belief. I literally clean it with a paper towel and I'm done. The puffs turn over so easy, they just slide over. I turn them with the tip of a fork. Browns the puffs perfectly. Puffs NEVER stick. Quick, even heat--pan heats up quickly all over, not just in certain spots. I bought this pan to make pancake puffs for my son, who saw the commercial and was begging me for the "set". So, I figured why not get a professional-grade, serious pancake puff pan? I learned its proper name--the Danish Ebleskiver Pan, and then scoped out the pancake ebleskiver pan a.k.a. pancake puff pan market and they all ran around $30 and up, so this was a great deal. Plus, I figure Nordic Ware is a good name, so I bought it. I bought this pan my 7-year-old son, a budding chef, in mind, and gave it to him as one of his early Christmas presents, along with an adjustable chef hat. It made an adorable gift ensemble, and together, my son and I have enjoyed our pancake puff adventures ever since--me, manning the pan and him breaking the eggs donning his professional-grade chef hat Chef Works CHAT Chef Hat, White . I am soooo happy with this pan. It has made my life easier and making my son's food so much more fun because he requests pancakes daily and this pan performs: pancake puffs are effortless with this pan. The puffs are just little balls of the perfect pancake--fluffy on the inside and browned-just-golden on the outside. I guess you can even inject them, but I haven't really felt the need to, just the plain puff is so darn good. They don't even need syrup, somehow. I have tried sprinkling them with powdered sugar, though--mmmmm, divine! I experimented with various ingredients--I made the standard puff, then I dropped a few chocolate chips on the puffs, which made sort-of choco-puffs, which are addicting--if I don't watch out I may turn into a pancake puff! I even found a neat website that lists all the B&B's favorite muffin recipes! In case you are wondering--you can adapt any muffin recipe/mix and make it as a puff. Just drop a teaspoon of the muffin batter in the pan and it makes a puff, not a muffin. You can even use your fav brownie recipe/mix. So, any muffin/brownie recipe out there can be a puff--imagine the possibilities... I've yet to try a pizza puff, but it's on the horizon. Lastly, it's a great pan if you have super-picky kids. My son's a uber-finicky eater, but I'm thrilled to report that whatever is in a "puff" form just seems so much less intimidating, and so much more appealing to him. We even made hush puppy puffs!!! He loves them!!! Buy this pan, and whatever the puffs--I'm sure you'll agree--this is the pan to make them in.

The pan I never thought I'd need—but I do!
I never thought I'd need this pan, nor had I ever heard of one, so I'm thrilled Amazon offers it. I tasted ebelskivers for the first time at a local restaurant and knew I had to learn how to make them myself. The pan makes it possible and easy! Even my 7 year old grandkids could make them with this pan. The ebelskivers turn and release perfectly every time. We don't use the pan often since it's a rare treat but it's held up well. We don't put it in the dishwasher. Don't need to. Wipes right out easily. It's not too heavy but solid. It's a great investment.

Great Product, when you have a little extra time for a fun meal!
I love this pan! The pan works great, I use a pastry brush and melted butter to grease and never have any sticking. I have the sticks sold separately to turn the ebleskiviers, but have found a couple wooden skewers work nearly as well. I have also used the pan on both and electric and gas range without any problem. There are so many different combinations of what you can make from something faster using mixes and jarred jam to completely from scratch. My one year old daughter loves them as well and is able to eat them on her own with minimal mess. The down side and reason I don't use it more often is it takes a long time to make enough for even a family of four; but that is not a result of this product specifically, it is just the nature of cooking ebleskiviers. -- Overall, it's a great product when you have a little extra time for a fun meal. I have one myself and have bought several as gifts.

Very happy with it.
Love this Ebelskiver pan by Nordic Ware. I have been making these round Danish pancakes for about 20 years. I have always used a cast iron one. My granddaughter wanted to learn how. When done I gave her my pan. So I decided to replace it but couldn't find a cast iron one by Christmas Eve for our family dinner. I found this one and decided to try it. It's amazing. It's aluminum type one and very light to handle. It was perfect and now realized I don't need cast iron to make good Ebelskivers..

Fun Breakfast Treat, but Nonstick Coating Fragile
Love these little pancakes! Great fun to make and eat. Very easy to make. Used a tart jelly, but eager to try other fillings, as well. My son's girlfriend is Scandanavian, and was so happy to see me making them; reminded her of her family on Christmas morning. Their filling was always apple. However, when hand washing after my first use, little flakes of non-stick coating came off several of the pancake wells. As I used only a wooden chopstick to turn the pancakes, I was really disappointed in the quality. Returned the pan, and Amazon sent out a new pan within two days. Great customer service! I have only used the new pan once, but so far so good. Maybe I got a defective pan, but would urge caution with the type of utensils used. Overall, this is a nice pan, lightweight, but yet sturdy.

They don’t stick and pan doesn’t rust
I’ve never made these but I thought they’d be fun for my grandkiddos. After reading several reviews of other pans, I decided on this one and I’m glad I did! I made a quick apple filling and used regular pancake batter. The kiddos loved eating pancake balls! So good! They don’t stick - turn easily with a long toothpick.
