Working Well Easy to Use
First, I didn't go out and buy a rubber mallet. I wrapped a cloth around my hammer head a few times and tightly secured it. Sufficient. I have a bird feeder on a tall shepherds hook with mulch at the bottom and I wanted to neaten it up and close it. It looks great. I tied a string around the pole a went around it to draw a perfect circle about 15 feet. Used my garden trowel to carve it out then hammered in and connected the pieces. All of the pieces stood up to the hammering and are secured. In fact I used this same material 25 years ago in a very sunny location and it is still in place. It hasn't cracked or faded color. You would think it would become brittle or disintegrate but it doesn't.

Fall apart
I didn't have the same problem as others... They are really loose when put together, so you can't move them around once they are together. I usually put several together and then take the wall to the flowerbed and arrange it adding and subtracting pieces as needed. However these fall apart when you move them. Once in place if they are bumped they fall apart. I'm going to have to tape them together to keep them in place. The depth and size are good as well as the price. Still using them, so ....

Not bad, but not as sturdy as they look.
On the positive side, the border looks good and does the job adequately. I would even consider buying this again. On the negative side, though, the panels are too flexible and thin. Even using a rubber mallet (rather than a hammer), they bend if there is any resistance at all from the soil. We ended up using a lawn edger to cut into the dirt; then we inserted the panels.

Interlocks securely & easily
I had to loosen up the soil a bit, it was very dry when I put these in around my hostas, but then they went in easily. I used light taps of a hammer. I recommend these! I installed these in a circle around my garden bed, and they lend themselves great for that application. They would also be great in a straight line.

Misleading image, product is junk
I regret buying this. The image shows a regular hammer, but the instructions it comes with advise using a rubber mallet. Well, I tried both and they just do not go into the ground. If you try, they bend and warp. So, you have to dig a spot for them, defeating the exact purpose of buying this. And I just hate how the actual product looks in real life.

Works great. Easy to use.
For years I have been trying to find this type of border with the quality that I used to be able to get. I have tried others and have been very disappointed....until I ordered this. I am so thrilled to be able to put a border around my gardens that is durable and easy to install. THANK YOU.

Ok, but not very sturdy
I just installed this, so I don't have any long term evaluations yet. I bought this because I wanted a cheap, temporary option to create a border and it's good for that. I have used other brands before and this one is less sturdy and pretty short. When I installed it I couldn't really pound it in, it's too flimsy for that. So the picture shown is misleading to say the least. I had to create a "slit" in the ground and put it in there. Then it worked fine. I hope it holds up for a while.
