Purchased this mat for under a Peloton. This mat is going over a hard wood floor and seems to be perfect for that. It is a very dense material and heavier than the thin profile would suggest. The surface has a shiny, slightly textured finish that seems slicker than I expected yet not so slick that you'd be sliding around on it. It appears perfect for its purpose which is to insulate the floor from any marking from the bike supports and to protect the floor from sweat. The finish seems completely waterproof and easy to clean.I would have preferred that the edges were tapered; however the mat is at most 3 mils thick, so that shouldn't be a problem with catching an edge. I also don't think this mat would work well over a high pile carpet without some plywood underneath. Although very dense, its just not stiff enough to provide a stable base over a "squishy" carpet by itself, imo.The reason I chose this mat over the Peloton mat, when you include shipping they are about the same price, is that I wanted a thin, dense, non spongy mat for over the hard wood floor. The Peloton mat sounded more like a workout mat to me, although I have no experience with it.

I’ve had this sitting under my Peloton on top of the Berber carpet the previous homeowner put in my basement and it does very well. There are no indentations around the feet of the bike, the bike and the mat stay put, the puddle of sweat after every workout cleans up easily and the mat still looks brand new. There’s enough room on the mat so you can get off the bike and still be on the mat and the sweat never falls outside the mat. I’m happy with this purchase, would buy it again, and would recommend it to others looking for a mat for the Peloton. I actually like this better than the Peloton branded mat that my brother got that seems a little wavy on carpet.

Got it for my peloton bike. It’s very sturdy and have no problems so far. Read the reviews before ordering and decided to go with the extra sturdy one instead of the soft. Glad I did.

We tried a lot of mats to go under our treadmill and found most of them to be too thin or they compress so much there is no floor protection. We also found that thicker, rubber mats smell way too toxic. This mat is the perfect thickness and doesn't compress much under our treadmill which protects the floor. The only issue is it's almost greasy. So we were afraid the treadmill would move around when we were using it. We tried a lot of cleaning products trying to get rid of the greasy feeling and also contacted customer service who was no help at all. We never got rid of the slippery, greasy feeling, but we had an old mat that compressed too much to be used alone, so we've doubled up, with this greasy mat on the bottom to protect the floor, and another mat on top so our treadmill won't slide around.

This mat is mostly good as the title suggests. The price was good and the quality seems to be there. We ride our Peloton about 2-3 hours a day with everyone in the house and it seems to be keeping up well. My complaint is that this is the one for carpet, but it's really not rigid enough for that as you definitely get some movement on it still. Not necessarily the mats fault as it does as good as it can, but it's not good enough that you don't have to put down plywood still.

I know what you’re doing. You want a mat and you are wondering which is the cheapest that will do the job. Well this ain’t the cheapest but it is way better than the yoga mats and other cheapies.The is a very durable mat that has a nice sheen allowing for easy wipe downs. If you are using a bike your cleats won’t tear hole in this. I’m happy with this. Glad I did not waste my money on a cheap mat.

Perfect high quality mat for peloton bike or other heavier exercise equipment. I ordered two of these in two different sizes and they are awesome. They are very heavy so they’re not a carry around work out mat. The mats appear to be built for the long haul as they are very robust and have substantial weight to them. I personally use mine over carpet and it’s been flawless.

I had originally purchased the Peloton mat to go with my bike, what a disaster. The sweat went right through the mat and almost ruined my floor. This mat is much more durable, better looking and doesn't absorb the sweat like the Peloton one did. Excellent product.

I bought the High Density-30-inch x 60-inch which is perfect for my Bowflex M3 MaxTrainer. I have hardwood flooring over a cement surface in an old apartment building. I thought the shiny finish of the mat would bother me but it doesn't. Product took 3-4 days longer to arrive than what it said when I checked out. Happy with this purchase. Definitely recommend.

I have a spin bike that I bought at the start of the pandemic and needed a matt to put it on to protect the carpet from the marks and also from my sweat. This certainly delivers on that front - it's a very hefty matt, not something you'd want to carry around under your arm that's for sure. It does a great job protecting the living room carpet from my sweat and from the marks caused by a heavy piece of exercise equipment. Recommended.

Exactly as described. Heavy mat perfect for my echelon spin bike. I was honestly surprised by the size because most of the photos showing the 30 x 60, so it just fitting the bike however, I do have quite a bit of room to spare. If you use the Honey app recommend waiting for a price drop to get a better rate, but otherwise worth the few extra bucks to pick one up if you need it before it goes on sale.
