Works well and good value
One aim for me this year was to digitise all the sheet music I play so it's easier to carry around. The other big plus of digitisation seems to be the ability to use a foot controlled page turner - no more struggling to turn the page whilst playing on with one hand. I've since bought ForScore - software for my iPad and MacBook which allows you to digitise and store your music (plus a lot else but this isn't a review of the software) - and their website states it works with a variety of page turners. However, the three they specifically mention retail at around ÂŁ90 which seemed a lot of money for a gadget with one basic function. The Donner costs half that amount so is much better value. It has 5 programmable functions should you want to manipulate documents or presentations in other ways however I've only used the "page forward"/"page backward" function. Bluetooth connection to my MacBook and iPad was simple and on pressing the pedals the digitised pages turn forward and backward instantly. So it does what I bought it to do and does it very well. It has an on/off switch but if you stop using it for 10 mins it turns off automatically to be wakened when you next press a pedal. The internal battery seems to hold a charge over several weeks of use (I practice for 1-2 hours 3-4 times a week) with me relying on this auto-switch off. Overall very happy with it. I cannot comment on the maximum range over which it will work as my keyboard is very close to the iPad I'm reading the music from.

Perfect
Bought it to work with Honor 8 tablet for piano music. It is brilliant - responds instantly, turning pages either forward or back (for repeats etc). Very good battery life - easily copes with a 2 hour rehearsal followed by 2 hour concert with no worries at all. LED power indicator is discreet on-stage. Thoroughly recommend.

Good sturdy pedal
Pedal works really well and is sturdily constructed. My only quibble is that it goes to sleep if you don't turn a page for a while. It's quite a long time before it goes to sleep, probably 5 or 10 minutes, but nevertheless I've been caught out playing a piece, come to turn the page and there is no response. It wakes up in a few seconds, but by then the rest of the band are several bars away!

Does not do what it says in the brochure and what I
When turned on it will not allow the tablet to use an interrnal keyboard for the first 5 minutes. When you use the pedal after that then you have to wait another 5 minutes to get the keyboard again. When on stage this is a no no. Further when you don't use the pedal for 15 minutes it shuts down, also a no no. So it is no use to me. Read the blogs.

Would recommend
Tried a few page turner and this is my preferred one. Pedals are a little more robust than other options. Charges quickly and last quite a while.Would recommend.
