There is one problem
4 starr becouse of this problem. Front zipper is metal but the zipper across lower back is plastic. Once ziped up to the coat the zipper will break.

Works for women riders
I’m 5’2” 115lbs. I usually wear a size 2 in pants. I got these in 30x30 since that’s the smallest size. But I’m good with that because I can wear them as overpants over shorts or my scrubs. The armor wants to live way down low, so I need to hike it up to where it’s actually going to protect my hips/knees, but it works. They’re also SUPER high waisted on me. They come up past the bottom of my rib cage, pretty much to the bottom of my low line sports bra. I just really didn’t want to have to spend $150-$200 for some armored women’s riding pants. They are super hot though. I ran round for maybe 15-20 minutes (wearing shorts underneath), and I was very sweaty after I took them off. Of course it was 95 degrees out today.Overall I’m a happy camper. And I love love love my Alpha mesh jacket.

Great fit!
Like the pants. Could use a couple of improvements. More room for over the boots, couldn't zip up gators. Also belt loops would be nice.

Great riding protection, and a bargain price
I’ve been riding several times with these pants on. They definitely will protect you in a crash or fall. They seem well made, wind doesn’t come through. Not sure if they’re waterproof. I wear size 38 waist and 30 inseam in jeans. So these pants I ordered 40 x 32, they fit perfect. They are quite warm, hot on hot days, great on cold days. I’m very happy with them.

Solid dirt biking pants, sizing is all wrong
Pants are durable, plenty of pockets. As others mentioned the sizing is entirely wrong. Need to order two full sizes over normal on waist and one size over normal on length if you want proper fit over boots and with any pants underneath.

Solid motorcycle pants
I wear them a size up and wear them over my street clothes. They made it up the Dalton Highway to Dead Horse in May. Wind, rain, mud and snow! Stayed warm and dry. I wear them inside my boots, great until it rains... Water runs into your boots, simple fix, wear them over your boots.

These Fit Well and are Durable
My waist around the belly-button is about 34" relaxed. however, I wear 32"/33" pants that fit well (even a tad loose). I read that these pants run 2 sizes too small, so I was leary about buying the 34" pants. However, I was able to wear these *over* heavy Carhart canvas work pants. It was a little snug in the waist and when lifting my leg over the motorcycle, but otherwise fine. If I just wear this by themselves or with a thin pair of running pants, they fit just right. The length is accurate. But, as others pointed out, if you don't want the pant leg riding up above your boots, then order 1"-2" longer than you'd normally wear. By doing so, the pants will be that much longer when walking/standing, but they won't ride up above the top of your boots while riding the motorcycle. It's not a concern form me -- I actually like that the pant legs ride up a bit because there's less risk of getting caught are pegs/etc., which can be dangerous.I wish it had a tailbone pad insert. But, I noticed that few if any motorcycle pants include this. I plan to ask a local seamstress to sew an insert pocket in the back so I can insert a tailbone pad.Overall, I'd buy these again -- and probably will so I have an extra pair.

not too bad
great pair of pants for what I was needing. They do come a little small, so I would order up a size, and I did have stitching come loose after about the third ride. But all in all, they are a good pair of riding pants.
