Great to sprinkle on eggs, meat, fish, or rice. I just wish it were not so hard to find in the States. Thankfully it was available here. Please note that the date printed on the bottom of the jar is the "best-if-used-by" date, not the date of production. The Japanese caption reads, ่ณๅณๆ้ (shoumi kigen), which means, consumption deadline; best if consumed before this date. That said, my last jar of this wasabi salt was dated about two years ago, and it still tastes delicious.

Delicious!
