This carpet pad had a challenge. I repurposed my unused greenhouse into a study (with heat). I placed the pad between a 6 x 9 sheet of plywood and carpet. It worked out perfectly. There was no odor. It does not appear to be attracting moisture and it cushions the rug which was inexpensive to feel as if it was thick. (I wanted a polyester rug for moisture control.) It does not move at all.

This non slip rug pad is okay! It does not slip it self but the actual rug does. I was hopping this rug pad was going to make it easy for me to vacuum my rug and keep it from moving but it is not. Overall good quality and easy to cut to size:

Good rug pads like this one are expensive but so worth it. Every time you step on the rug it will feel so much more stable and comfy. It will look better, wear better, and stay in place better. You deserve it and so does your rug!

This carpet pad does exactly what it is supposed to - sticks to the floor, no slipping of the carpet on top. Works perfectly, and we were able to trim off the 1.5" needed to hide it completely under our carpet. Would purchase again!

Very pleased with this rug pad. Laid down nicely and stayed put. It was really easy to roll the rug out on top of it. I bought a different one for another rug and it was awful - the kind with all the squares that is just like shelf liner - what a pain! I read mixed reviews about the thickness so I wasn't sure. It's plenty thick for my liking. It's just slightly smaller than 5x7 which I like - you don't have to trim anything. Adds a nice cushion to an inexpensive rug that I bought. If I ever need another one, I'll definitely go this route again. BTW, mine was laid over tile flooring.

This rug pad seems decent although it's kind of thin, hard to cut to size, and smelly. I am told my my carpet dude these products are unnecessarily expensive, and I agree. This is just OK. See my reviews for another product that I recommend for this application.

I’ve bought two different sizes on two separate occasions for two different rooms/rugs. The first one (5x7) was a bit smaller than what I ordered, and the second (6x9) was an odd shape in that the sides show a bit or can be seen but not too much. Think of a rectangle, like I ordered, and then it’s just cut wrong or off center. It still works, it’s thick and is difficult to move once on tile. I would buy more if I ever need some in the future.

I ordered this to make a rug feel more comfortable and to keep it in place despite a 60 pound dog enthusiastically running across it and/or trying to stop on it after enthusiastically running while chasing a ball. It works!
