I was finally able to get it in with a hammer and 2x4. Don’t like idea that one needs to seriously hammer this in there. I used the 2x4 to avoid damaging the plastic with my hammer. Even afterwards, I can see a very slight lump in the center of the cap resulting from the tightness at the ends. I wouldn’t recommend this.

These covers fit perfect and look factory. I installed these after noticing how much leaves and crap had gone down those pocket holes. I had to use a shop vac to clean everything out and decided I was not going to do that on a regular basis. The covers fit real tight and require slight taps with a hammer to fully seat them in. Place a cloth over them so you do not scratch them and use a board on top (strike the board with the hammer) to help ensure they are being driven down into the pocket squarely. Being these do fit so tight I do not see a way to remove them without just breaking them out. Being the bed has tie downs inside I don't think most people will ever need to use these pockets and if you do, you will need to figure out how to remove the factory ones from the front anyway.

Two seconds to install and have kept out dust and rain great so far. I saw several questions and reviews about whether they fit flush or not. Here are a couple pics which show that the do not fit absolutely flush - they stick up about an 1/8". If they went in completely flush I don't think they could maintain the seal to keep out water and dust.I've been very happy with them so far and for the cheap price can't be beat.

They are post caps and they fit very tight into place. They are not a perfect fit as they will have some sort of raised area or almost look like a ripple is raised. Not really an issue since its a truck deal and it actually was VERY useful for getting a screwdriver underneath to remove them so i could install my truxedo bed cover. I would give it 5 stars if the finish was a touch refined so it LOOKED perfect but the function works and i am happy with them.

I installed these on my 2020 Silverado LT. Needed a rubber mallet to pound them in. They did not fit flush like advertised so they're going back. Removal was pretty easy compared to installation.

The bed rail covers are tapered and get smaller as you look down into them. The covers have sides without enough taper and are too big to fit. I had to spend 30 minutes on each part with a mini belt sander and remove quite a bit of plastic. Then I went to town on the bed covers with a box cutter and cut vertical slits in all the corners. After using a rubber mallet, they reluctantly managed to go down in there. At least they are injection molded and not 3D printed.

I really should have paid more attention to the reviews. These are extremely tight! Got one side installed an dit bulged up and the second side broke and all I used was my palm to try to beat it into place! The material is great and the texture is great but the fit is way off. I bought these because I didn't want the other 3D printed versions, they're even worse.

This product was as described, and it served its function, but after 6 months, one of them flew out on the freeway. You would think that they would be designed to stay in tightly, especially if they are designed to be on the outside of a truck.Unfortunately I either have to buy another or take out the one that is left...

this product is made from a different material than the truck box top rails. I fear that the hard black plastic will not last in the sun and these stake pocket covers will be toast in no time. Also these do not fit flush but extend 2 mm or more above the factory box rail caps... i would return therm for a refund but i fear I would damage my truck trying to remove them... DON'T BUY THESE!

Made of hard plastic. Bottom fits in but gets tighter as you hammer it down. Couldn't get it flush but it's close. Need up cracking one trying to get it in place.

Great buy if your looking to plug those box up.
