I recently tried the Sudden Death Mustache Wax and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance. Here's why:Pros:Strong Hold: This wax provides an exceptional hold, keeping my handlebar mustache in place throughout the day without the need for reapplication. GearMooseEasy Application: Unlike some waxes that require heating, this one is ready to use straight from the tin, making the grooming process quick and convenient. Pleasant Scent: The subtle fragrance is refreshing without being overpowering, adding to the overall grooming experience.Cons:Firm Texture: The wax is quite firm, which might require a bit more effort during application, but this firmness contributes to its strong hold.Final Thoughts:The Sudden Death Mustache Wax delivers on its promise of a strong hold and ease of use. It's an excellent choice for those seeking reliable control over their mustache styling.

Great stuff!
Incredible wax! I don't use the pick that's included because i find it just easier to heat the entire top layer of the can and dip my finger into the wax and apply it quickly from base to tip and repeat with the heat and apply until i achieve the desired result and man does death grip wax hold! This stuff dries solid and holds incredibly well and even held the moustache in place when i ran on a treadmill for a full hour sweating and breathing in and out of the nose and mouth. I don't know much about other brands but when you want to dress up your moustache and make it fancy use this brand because this is the brand that professional hair performers trust and use and i definitely will buy this again when the can i have now runs out. I can't recommend this product enough and if you are buying the death grip wax you definitely need to buy the wax remover oil in a bottle cause the oil makes the wax mushy so you can remove it easier at the end of the day. BUY THIS!

High quality stache wax
Finally ran out of my 3 cans of Death Grip, by Vintage Grooming. A wax I am thoroughly impressed by and use every day.I was invited to purchase Bone Crusher on an early batch but still had a mountain of Death Grip and did not need another tin in my supplies. That said; I would have bought 2 had I known just how great the latest offering from Vintage Grooming is.I ordered a can, and was rather excited.I absolutely love the packaging and branding from Vintage Grooming. I own a tee shirt and their stickers decorate my work shop. And I find uses for the tins. And the guitar picks are a little extra detail that really make their wax stand out.So I couldn't wait to see the latest art featured on the Bone Crusher.I was not disappointed. The art is phenomenal and unique. But Art doesn't make the wax.The price is right in line with their other waxes. It won't break the bank and your money will go far. And it's money well spent.Opening my Bone Crusher; very easy.I've had trouble with Death Grip. Once the wax gets on the threads, there are times I need channel locks to break that sucker open. I have yet to see if BC gooks up the threads in a similar fashion. But so far, it has not been an issue. To solve the DG unthreading problem, I simply do not engage the lid fully. I don't have to apply it more than once a day, and therefore have no need to carry it with me. And no need to seal it.This is a first world problem and does not take away from DG which I rate 5 stars.Bone Crusher is not as sticky. It is a tough wax. Rock hard in the can. A hairdryer is absolutely required.Thankfully, the residue doesn't cling to the hairdryer or the plug.I've had Death Grip on just about every item in my house at one point or another. Not so much with Bone Crusher. It has a manly smell. Not flowery or perfumed. That's not to say it smells bad.It is a pleasant scent and appropriate for a mans stache. It smells fresh and clean. Just not overpowering.Heating it up with a hairdryer on high heat. It takes much longer than DG. Stays liquid for a very brief time and is dry by the time it gets to the stache. Therefore more heat is needed. It goes in wonderfully smooth. It doesn't clump or clot. My stache doesn't separate into multiple strands. And therefore the wax just coats everything evenly and requires very little. And that little will go a long way. A few dips in the liquid wax on each side. A few strokes. Some pinches and smoothing. A few tweaks to shape it.In spite of a longer heat time. It takes less time to shape and form and get a good even coat than with DG.My stache looks natural and full. It doesn't look like I've got any product in. And it remains in shape, all day.I have a large mustache and I'm not using much BC at all.Shaping my stache into a proper and finely sculpted Handlebar is a breeze and less messy.I work in a forge with hot sparks and high temperatures. Welding and grinding and a lot of fumes and smoke. The BC holds up 100%It was the same shape when I left the house and the same shape after 10 hours of work.In fact, it only relaxes after I soap up and leave it in for most of my shower. And to my satisfaction, my mustache seems to be healthier since I started using BC.I'll still buy DG. But my new primary wax is definitely Bone Crusher. If you need a solid, extra strong hold wax, then Id definitely recommend it. You won't be disappointed.

More natural look
Great product! Bare Bones gives you a more natural look. If you're looking for good, firm hold on handlebars, you'll want Sudden Death or stronger. My attempted handlebars tend to spread out with Bare Bones.

Waxing Stronger Than My Morning Coffee
This is the Hercules of mustache wax—super strong, reliable, and ready to wrestle even the wildest handlebars into submission. Once you warm it up (pro tip: blow dryer + pea-sized ball = stache magic), it applies smoothly and lasts through anything. Motorcycle rides? Check. Camping trips? Double check. Basically, if your mustache doesn’t hold with this, you’re doing something wrong—or drinking lava.Yes, the new tins have a bit of a smell, but it fades like my Monday motivation, so no big deal. It’s tacky, long-lasting, and an absolute beast at keeping the curls in place. The only downside? Heat is your best friend, and without it, this wax could probably double as superglue. If you’ve got the patience (and a blow dryer), this stuff is a game-changer. But fair warning: it holds so well that even washing it off might feel like a side quest.

Skin irritating and breakage
This is my 3rd tin, the very first tin I had amazing results, the hold is good, the scent is amazingly mild. Problem with tin number 2 and tin number 3 is that it's causing skin irritation now, and the skin to break. I'd read from another review that it could be that It was expired, so I bought tin number 3. Just opened it. And not even 6 hours later I'm feeling the irritation.....
