I only had to make some slight adjustments to the EQ, but the sound of this thing is absolutely phenomenal. Best wah I’ve ever used. Not a traditional wah but very modern and incredibly versatile.

Wow. This is by far the biggest sounding wah I've heard, period. The range on this pedal is huge. Very vocal sounding, with deep lows and smooth highs in the stock settings, with very nice midrange. I have not made any adjustments to the internal stock EQ settings yet, and honestly don't really feel the need to change anything. The finish is very cool looking as well, but is a fingerprint magnet, if that matters to you.I have been using a Cry Baby Classic for about 10 years now, and while that is still my favorite wah of all time, this is definitely up there with the best of them. Do not expect to get a classic wah wah "wacka-wacka" sound out of the box with this thing. I'm sure it is possible with some EQ adjustments though. For Dream Theater fans, it dead on nails the wah sound in the solo for Voices off the Awake album.My only complaints would be that I am getting a bit of added noise and there is a slight variation in signal volume, when the pedal is engaged. That could be due to the EQ settings, and I'm sure that could be adjusted with some slight tweaks. Also, the stock settings (to me) aren't very favorable with clean amp settings, but that is my personal opinion. Sounds superb with my Friedman Small Box and Bogner Shiva heads. Overall, it's a fantastic sounding pedal that definitely will get it's fair share of use.

I bought this John Petrucci foot petal for my husband. He has 2 John Petrucci signature series musicman guitars, so it's only fitting that he has coordinating accessories. He absolutely loves it!!!

This pedal sounds amazing! Awesome tones with high gain and with cleans it still gives a cool space age type of wah tone. Only drawback is that the pots on mine started clicking out of control within a week which made the pedal useless. I'd rather not bother cleaning or repairing pots on something I just spent good money on so I sent it back and invested into a Chase Bliss Spectre pedal instead. I know this wah gets rave reviews and I really do love how it sounds but people need to know what they might be up against if they buy this particular wah.

Never had this much fun with a wah pedal before! Highly customizable, from classic DT tones to your dad's classic "wacka wacka" crybaby. Built like a tank and classy chrome finish. 5 stars.
