Does this have any smell, odor, offgassing, or VOC's 24 hours after application?

I used my application on my auto while outdoors. I did not notice any noxious oder while handing it. I used it a number of years ago to seal ground wires on the chassis from water and corrosion. It has maintained its seal under the hostile environment of a car engine compartment. Now if you are concerned about using it in the presence of an animal such as a bird, I would contact the manufacturer. Hope this helps.

My project was extending a water line for a new hose bib. For some reason a slow leak at a “t” couldn’t be stopped so I used the rescue tape. It took many layers of tape but after several months no leak so it worked. But plan to wrap the tape around the pipe many times. And I was dealing with a slow leak. If your pipe has a constant flow of water type leak I would not trust the rescue tape.

If you don't use the entire package, is there a way to keep the reminder from getting hard? Maybe wrap in foil?

Hi Sunny, There is no need. Rescue Tape already has a mylar plastic backing, so it will last for years for whenever you need it. Rescue Tape only fuses when stretch and wrapped back onto itself. Use as much or as little as you need at a time.
