Does not work correctly for A+B->Y combining signals if impedance isn't matched. Pass on this pedal.
The A+B->Y signal combiner did not work on the first one so I exchanged. The replacement isn't much better. The problem seems to be related to the impedance of the input devices on A and B.If I use a buffered signal, like the output of a pedal, into this ABY box, it will combine the signals without significant signal loss. But if either of the signals are not buffered, one of them gets decimated and the other is weak. I could not get it to combine two raw inputs from two guitars without this happening as well. The only way the A+B->Y combiner worked was if both signals were buffered. The A/B switching function worked without issue. The LED is sub-par too. Green and Red for the A/B functions work well but the "yellow" for A+B->Y is not very clear, its messy/cheap looking.I am sending this second one back as well and recommend you look elsewhere for an ABY pedal.

Not a Bass Chorus Pedal
This is a great little AB/Y Switch for the money. The description calls it a Bass Chorus Pedal and describes it as one but at the time of purchase, it was the cheapest AB/Y pedal on Amazon. Great buy if you are looking for an AB/Y switcher.

Good switch, no noise
Good switch, no noise, and no need to plug it in which is awesome. I bought this to hook up both my Peavey 6505 MH and my Marshall JCM2000 DSL100 to my single Marshall 1960 4x12 Cabinet in stereo mode. While a cool feature, when playing the heads together they seem out of phase, so beware if you're getting this to do the same thing I did..you may want to find an A/B/Y that has phase inversion in it. Other than that, I don't really think I'm going to use this pedal like I intended, because when I do it separate in stereo mode, each head only comes out of 2 of the 12 inch speakers, and it sounds sort of weird that way...so I may just end up using this thing as a DI box. Even though this wasn't as cool as I thought it would be, it's always good to have a switch in your lineup just in case you ever need one, and this one does a pretty good job.

Good Box!
I bought this to make rehearsals easier in my home music room. I play multiple basses when I rehears, so this box, in Y format, allows me to run two basses through the same bass amplifier. It saves me the trouble of setting up two amplifiers and cabinets, one for each bass.It was simple, does not require a power supply or battery (although you don't get any indicator lights if no power). One thing I don't really like is that you have to flip a manual switch with your hand to get it into Y format, and the you lose the A/B capability. So, for me, the thing is really just a junction box that allows two signals to join together and go to one amplifier. But I like it better than my Morely AB/Y box. That one wasn't reliable or intuitive like this one. Overall, its compact size, ease of use, and suitability for my purpose makes it a great buy for the price.

Excellent little device!
I mainly got this to use as a mute pedal, for which it works perfectly, but I like that I have alternative use options available if I need them. It can be a mute button, an A/B selector, or a selector between a single channel and a double channel (in which case it functions like a splitter or combiner). The construction seems perfectly fine for stage use, very compact and sturdy. Even the box is very well-made, with a magnetic closure. Not that I will be keeping it in the box much. I don't particularly care about the light, so I have not bothered to connect it to DC power. That's the only part I haven't really tested. But I have no reason to doubt that it works.

Bet You Can't Just Buy One
If you're looking for a solidly built A/B Y pedal, this is the ticket.Small - doesn't take up much pedalboard space.Well crafted - should last your lifetime.Sharp looking - won't embarrass your other pedals.Quiet - nobody will notice.Versatile - hook up one guitar to two amps, one amp to two guitars, one guitar to two signal chains, one guitar to two different amp channels if you don't have channel switching, one guitar to a vocal harmonizer and a looper, you get the picture. It comes in such a cute package and thoughtfully includes a set of Velcro patches to fasten where you want it to stick.Once you buy one, you'll probably buy another, and another...Thank you, Tomsline for a great product at an affordable price.

Hooked up with this aby
Minus one star, no where in the presentation did it say it would not take a battery but can be used with out the 9 volt adapter any way. Just no pretty lights. came wrapped in foam sealed in a box which was sealed in another box carpel tunnel unwrapping it. using it to disconnect from the amp with out popping noise works well. plan to use it to run the guitar and an electric guitar to one input on my amp.
