Replace the Fitbit charger.
When your FitBit watch is not charging, order a replacement charger. For some reason the original charges loss contact through 1 of the 4 charging contacts. The replacement contains 3 chargers, suggesting that the loss of a contact is a common problem. These chargers solved the connectivity issues and my watch is still working.

perfect replacement for the original charger
Our old charger's pins were damaged (by use?) and charging was flakey. This is a perfect replacement that works well.

Works as expected
This works perfectly for my Fitbit. Charges my watch fast and is easy to use. The cord is long enough to have it on my nightstand and charge my watch. The magnet is strong enough to keep the watch and charger connected.

Works Fine, But..
It charges my Fitbit Versa 3 fairly fast, but I get a "Slow charging..." message on my watch.I got this in a hurry because the original got wet and stopped working, and my watch was down down to 37% in power. It arrived in 2 days!From the other reviews, I don't expect it to last very long, though. So I ordered another charger (also generic).I didn't notice any heating up or smoke, but I keep my eye on this charger per the warning from another reviewer. Certainly don't want to set my house on fire!

This Charging cable for fitbit is better than the one that comes with the fitbit. the cable is longer and the charging body it bigger.

Works perfectly, replaced original
My first charger cable was not functioning -- charging would stop or engage intermittently and it was no longer reliable that once left alone, the Fitbit would charge. I took a leap and replaced the cable and all was resolved. The Fitbit charges as expected every time. Totally recommend if you are experiencing a problem with unreliable charging. Unrelated note: I have always gotten and still get the "charging slowly message"... but in reality, the charging is fast and reliable, so I just ignore the message.
