Dead on arrival again
6/29/2024. I decided to try again. And once again dead. I placed them into a clear container with fresh water for about two days. Nothing moved. I then moved them to the tank to see if maybe they would awaken, dead. All of them dead. This company or person needs to figure out a better way of shipping them. Goodness. Bad bad bad bad. Don't buyI tried to upload some pics.First. I ordered these weeks ago, they have been in the mail for about a week.Second, I get them, in the mail box, while I'm at work. The letter says I need to contact them within 2 hours of delivery with pictures to show I'm following instructions. With no email or phone number.Third, like any aquarium animal, I leave the bag in the water for about an hour or two, so I can let them adjust to the water temperature.Fourth, I got rid of the water in the bag like the piece of paper states, placed them in a container for another hour, they were notoving yet but had hope.Fifth, I placed them in my tank. Turned the lights down, and they didn't move. I left them in my tank all day with lights on low. They didnt move.Very disappointed with the company that sent these. Dont buy. I had to remove and throw away.

Packed With Care, Arrived on Time and Alive
These snails were just as advertised. Dark shelled Malaysian trumpet snails of varying maturity arrived before the specified date and were packed well to prevent damage in shipping.Snails themselves seemed healthy. Honestly I got so many that I cannot say that they were 100% live on arrival but because of the quantity it didn’t actually matter. I got them to turn the sand in my freshwater aquariums but I also use them as a crunchy food source for my puffers so any that weren’t alive and ready to burrow can be repurposed to help keep their teeth worn down.I ordered 10, the bag was marked “10 + 2 + Bonus.”When I opened the bag there was a massive amount of trumpet snails, at least 30. And a bonus mystery snail! I threw the mystery snail in the nano aquarium and we will see if he makes it. There’s pea puffers in there too so while they’re not big enough to bite through the shell most likely, they will probably pick at his exposed areas when he’s traveling around. The shells on all of these snails were very hard and well formed, indicating their quality of care in the (I assume) snail farm they were raised in.I have had mixed experiences ordering inverts on Amazon. This ranks as the best one so far in that even though they are “just snails” they are still living creatures and the seller clearly took the care to treat them as such.If I find myself in the market for aquatics related purchases in the future, I’m definitely checking this seller first!

Came few days faster than expected
The media could not be loaded. I was worried that they had gotten squished cuz they hardly had any water n they were not moving. But i did what instructions said, drained water and put them in a container with my fish tank water and they started moving about half hour later so that was a relief. It came with 11 very small snails but so far they all look alive..

Snails like playing dead
So got these snails to help clean some bamboo and decided to prepare an aquarium for them instead. Snails took a long time to arrive, and when they did they came in a plastic bag with a wet paper towel. Following the instructions, the snails came to life and were active. Though after being introduced to aquarium basically all rolled over and pretended to be dead. Thought maybe they were sick or had suffered permanent injuries from the cold during delivery, though reading up they're nocturnal so you might not see them active at all.Often times they'll just pick a spot and sit there for a day or two before moving around at night, or hiding under the sand if you have sand. They don't seem very interested in any snail foods I've provided them so far, but they're alive so they must be eating something. Also not very good algae cleaners despite what you might read. Tank had an algae bloom after introducing an aquarium grow light, and had to introduce bladder snails to take care of it as the trumpet snails were busy lazing around. If anyone thinks their snails are dead, don't throw them out. They're probably faking it and you'll see them move around if you wait and its the right time of day.

I bought 12, stopped counting after 20
Paper with the package says 12 + snails and I definitely got more than 12. They were shipped in a wet paper towel and immediately came to life after being placed in water. Only a few seem to be a bit slow but the seer number sent made up for that. I'd love to know what species of plant the free plant was though!

Not alive.
So far, I would have to say not good. I got the snails approximately 9 days later from ordering, and it appears that they are all dead. All 10+ of them. It has been hours since placing them in the quarantine tank and there has been no movement from where they landed.Further, opening the bag was fairly unpleasant, as it smelled like a combination of low tide, feces, and death; something I really wish I had never smelled. If any of them turn out to be alive I will update this, however, doesn't look promising so far.
