How many darts does it come with? What is the clip size?

It comes with 12 darts and a clip size of 12.

Do the modulus upgrade kits fit the retaliator?

A lot of the stuff, yes. The stock will interchange with other stocks of the N-Strike variety, like the Elite Retaliator. The removable magazines are also interchangeable. Even the accessories that use Nerf's version of the Picatinny rail are interchangeable. If it fits one Picatinny rail it will fit them all. (as a side note: Nerf picatinny rails have the same cross section as a Picatinny rail on a real gun, so even real gun accessories can attach to the Nerf guns). Though my kids don't have any modulus barrels, from the pictures online it looks like even the detachable barrels are compatible with the N-Strike system... they look to have the same twist-lock ends that their N-Strike guns use.

Do I have to pull both triggers to fire?

It actually has only one trigger. All you have to do is pull back the thing on top, stick the fully loaded clip in, push the thing forward to load a dart then pull the trigger. Cock it again to shoot another dart.

How often does it jam? And does it jam?

According to my son, it does not jam 'Very Much". He estimates 1 of 20 shots. (part if it is because the top is pulled back too hard.) I've only seen it jam once, and it was an easy fix.

Good quality gun

If it gets jammed you have an access door to remove jammed bullets. The stock and barrel can be removed. Magazine can hold 12 bullets.
