Seems good
Product looks well built and has some heft to it. The connectors are good and tight. Seems like it should work well. Kinda hard to say it works well unless you actually get a lightning strike. None of my radios have gotten fried so there's that.

Looks really solid. Nicely machined.
Looks really solid. Nicely machined. The discharge cartridge can be replaced but I don't see any for sale from the company that is marketing this.

FEEL SAFER WITH IT!!
I HAVE PUT IT BETWEEN TWO 9' LENGHTS OF MY COAX. 9' FROM MY A-99 ANTENNA, THEN THE LIGHTNING ARRESTOR GROUNDED, THEN 9' TO IN THE HOUSE CONNECTED ON MY RADIO. THIS IS, WHERE I LIVE, CONSIDERED THE "LIGHTNING CAPITAL" OF THE WORLD, I AM IN TAMPA BAY, FLORIDA. YOU SHOULD CONSIDER HAVING ONE ALSO, NO MATTER WHERE YOU LIVE, JUST TO BE SAFE, WHEN THE SPRING/SUMMER LIGHTNING STORMS COME IN. SMALL PRICE TO PAY FOR YOUR SAFETY. 73'S---027TAMPABAY..

OK for 100W or less
This works fine for me at 100W. However it cannot handle 750V as stated in the specs. 750V would equate to 1400W at 50 Ohms. I encountered arcing at 1/3 of that voltage when I attempting to use more power. Arcing occured at 150W on the 80M band and 250W on the 20M band into an antenna system that was close to 50 ohms. Not recommended for use with an HF power amplifier over 100W.
