My daughter was about 3 weeks when we started using these sleep sacks. Prior to getting these, I could NOT lay her down for naps. She would do "okay" at night, but it was very restless. She is now almost 6 weeks, and I decided to try using a regular swaddle wrap for day time naps and just reserve the nested bean for night time. After 3 days, we are back to the nested bean for all naps in the crib. There is a noticeable difference in how soundly she sleeps and how long her naps are in a regular swaddle compared to these! Regular swaddles, I have to go help her get back to sleep several times during a nap and duration was only 30 mins to a hour at best. I never have to go back in when she's in the nested bean, and she will nap 90 mins to 2 hours soundly.She never seems to hot in them. Plenty of room for hips. She's been a houdini with her arms and swaddles since birth, and she rarely is able to get her arms out if I fasten the band properly. Washes and dries like new.

I absolutely love everything about this swaddle. It helps with the startle reflex and keeps him snug. We went from waking up 4x a night to 2x within a span of two nights.

I don’t want to give this a bad review, because the product itself may work great. I just wanted to make a note about the sizing. I ordered the newborn size for my 2 week old baby.. he’s 9 pounds and 22 inches long. According to the size chart the newborn size (0-3 mo) should have fit him just fine.. but we got it and it was so small! His arms were too long for the attached sleeves and his wrists were bent inside of them. The neck opening was small and too tight. He could barely kick his legs and he just seemed generally too large for the item. Even though it says the next size up is not recommended for his weight, I feel like he needs the next size up (3-6 mo.) He is fairly large for a 2 week old, but he was well within the parameters listed for the newborn sizing, so it’s kind of annoying that the item was so small and now I have to send it back and reorder. I’m not seeing how this would fit a 14 lb baby (max weight for the item) when it barely fit a 9 lb baby.

I can’t sing enough praises for this thing. I’m getting one for a friend that’s pregnant. That little bit of weight makes a difference. I love that it gives the option to completely swaddle, have hands by face or be more of a sleep sack. It grows with baby and a great value. My baby falls asleep quickly in this.

I love this sleep sack, I am so glad we bought it for my 3 week old. I mainly got it since she was having hard time going back to sleep at night. Also I love my weighted blanket it helps me have a deeper sleep so I thought why not see if the baby likes it too. To my surprise we only had to wake up once last night! She did a five hour stretch, woke up ate a lot of milk, then another 3 hour stretch to finish the night. Now that I know she will sleep that long I’ll have to set alarms to make sure she doesn’t over sleep but that is a nice problem to have! My only worry is when she will grow out of it fast, she is very tall already 22 inches at 3 weeks old. I just hope by the time we need the 3-6 month it won’t be to heavy for her.

Although the box says there certain weight/age on it for newborn vs small - the newborn size is way too small for my guy. My baby was born premature so I assumed him being about 8/9lbs right now he could fit in the newborn size since some other swaddles/brand he’s needing smaller sizes and it says it goes up to 13lbs but it is way too small! I can’t imagine a 10-13lb baby fitting in the NB size!

This sleep sac is literally a game changer. My wife and I were STRUGGLING to get our son to sleep, and found these life changing sleep sacs. We literally tell everyone we meet about them. They help so much with soothing your child, and do a fantastic job at keeping them from startling awake. They are made of a very breathable material, and have the perfect amount of weight on them to keep your baby comfortable and asleep.

Wrong size was originally sent, reordered and received very dirty and smelled strong like perfume

I was desperate for this swaddle to help my baby with his startle reflex but the sizing is way off. He's 6 weeks and 11.4 pounds and the entire sack is way too tight on him. There's no way to velcro his arms in and he hates having them in the mesh wings. Because this is a weighted swaddle you can't size up until baby is in that month range so we have to pass on this one and try the dream weighted swaddle

I really wanted to love this product due to the price and the fact that my baby has been a very restless sleepover for the past 5 weeks. Unfortunately, this product just wasn’t for us. Baby was able to easily break free from the infant swaddle. We transitioned to the active sleep swaddle which seemed to be more distracting than self soothing.
