Don't need to be rocket scientist to figure out the functions.Picture quality is excellent.CD's Play well as well.Remote control has many features which include Wide, Slow and Zoom as well as A-B repeat function which allows you to play back a segment of the video that you choose. A is the start and B is the endAllows you to use USB port for pictures, Although the manual states that it only supports USB 2.0 up to 32 GB, I did use a 128GB USB 3.0 and managed to view photos. Manual also states that you should turn off the unit, then insert USB stick and then turn it on. I was able to switch back and forth between USB and DVD without turning unit off.Another plus is that it comes with an included HDMI.Also you can plug in headphones into the AV jack ( although it is used for audio / video into a TV,) you can plug in headphones into the jack and listen to audio. Volume is not the great, but remember, it's really not meant for headphones.The only negative item I could see is that it did not come with a power supply which you may want to take with you if traveling and the volume on the internal speaker could be a little louder.Otherwise for the price, its a great little DVD / CD player

This Geoyeao DVD player is an excellent choice if space is at a premium. It is a basic DVD player, with all you need to, well, play DVDs. Some things I particularly like about it:1. size. Did I mention it's small? Just a little larger than a DVD itself, perfect for stashing in your RV or travel trailer, boat, small apartment, etc.2. Runs on 5 Volts DC - in other words, USB powered. Works just as well on a USB battery as from a wall converter. (To save $, it doesn't come with a wall converter, assuming you have a bunch already, but if you need one, they will send you one for no charge).3. It opens via a simple button and spring loaded cover. Most DVD players have little drawers that come out with some sort of servo, just another thing to break, totally unnecessary. This one just opens, you put the DVD in from the top. Nothing to fail.4. The remote control does the usual things (pause, fast forward, etc.), but also has a bunch of buttons that activate some useful menu items directly, without having to go to the menu. So if you want to turn on subtitles or change language, you can just push those buttons. Also, since there is no "eject" button, the green button at the top does a nifty little loop thing - push it once, then a second time, and it just repeats the material between the two pushes. Cool if you're trying to figure out exactly what is happening in a scene.5. Did I say it was small?6. Picture was excellent - it is not a BluRay player, but the picture looked as good as a regular DVD can look, on a high-def large screen TV.7. Set-up took about a minute. Very simple.Definitely worth buying if you need an inexpensive DVD player.

I bought this player for my CDs, didn't realize it can be used as a DVD player also. The sound could be better, but for the size of the player it's decent. I have a mini travel battery that I use to run it so I can move it from room to room. My only qualm with the product is you have to use the remote if you want to adjust the sound, as the Volume level and the Skip buttons are the same on the actual device. Unless you get the fiddly pressure just right, you'll skip the song instead of raise or lower the volume.

This DVD player is seriously fantastic! The size, the simplicity of setup and use, and the fact that it plays all formats.The size is GENIUS. Much smaller than average DVD players but with all the bells and whistles. It’s powered by USB which is a simple idea that I’m surprised other manufacturers haven’t thought of. I simply plug it into the USB port in my SmartTV. That means one less wall plug I have to use….awesome!!It comes with both AV and HDMI cables. The fact that this includes an HDMI cable when most TV’s don’t is another feather in their cap.The remote control has all the standard buttons along with 2 very nice options, Wide and Zoom. Wide lets you change aspect ratio between 4:3 and 16:9, and it’s an option I’ve never seen on other DVD players.Overall super satisfied with this purchase and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a simple, elegant DVD player that packs a lot of punch into a small size.

The media could not be loaded.  This is THE PERFECT addition to our home theatre set up. Very easily plugs into our projector via HDMI. We love that this is so portable and lightweight and keeps movie night so simple.The picture is very clear (even old, pre- HD dvd's look decent and we LOVE that this thing has its own volume control and built in speaker. As you can hear in my video the speaker's sound really is not bad considering the size of this player. Maybe about the same as what you might hear from your cellphone. Definitely recommend connecting to a larger speaker for watching movies...especially action/ adventure.All in all it's a great product at a bargain price. I highly recommend it as a simplified entertainment solution!

I purchased this Mini DVD player and it is fantastic!!! It's so small and comes with a small remote! I bought it so that I could use with my AW1 Bose Wave Acoustic machine. The sound will blow you away and sound is crystal clear. Best thing is that the Mini DVD/CD player weight is so light and it takes up just about 6 inches width and 1 inch high! Operation is simple and no instructions are needed. I can even take it with me because the dvd/cd player has built in speakers and will operate from any standard USD outlet!! After careful searching, I'm sure this is the smallest DVD/CD player on the market!! For $35.00 you get your money worth for sure!! Thanks for a great buy!!!! Blessings!!! Greg Kelley

Great portable player, just having issues with picture size and then when zooming can't get rid of the word "zoom".The fact it runs off USB power is awesome.

Item Arrived In Good Order. Delivery Took 9 Days To Arrive in Total. This Player is as small as my Sony Portable Blue-ray writer and similar because both have no self-powered battery. I am into retro toys. The player will stop spinning and when the transparent cover is opened. Plays my DVD Videos well. Built-in speaker not fantastic but reasonable. My Sony mobile has more powerful bass than this player. This purchase's main purpose is to compliment function as an extension to my current equipment, not to replace them. Audio is good when attached to my main Sony amplifier and Bravia TV. Not too bad for this China-made device. Plays audio CDs well too when plugged in with proper headsets. The see-thru cover is cool that even my Sony set does not have.

Small,compact,good buy. I have been looking for CD plus DVD player which can play any CD or DVD and not take up much space to put on the tv cabinet. Unlike other branded DVD player which can only play certain DVD. I am very happy with this and certainly will recommend to others. Only for the sound, I don't like it. But I just need to connect to one of my Bluetooth speaker. So I am OK with it
