I've been purchasing these for over a year now for my 10 lb dachshund. I bought them for him as a puppy to get through teething because I wanted a long lasting, digestible and not smelly dog chew. He also was not interested in eating his kibble while teething, so I wanted something that wasn't filled with a bunch of unhealthy junk for him. It met all of those things, and he fell in love with them!These quickly became his favorite treat/toy, and nothing has surpassed it. It's the only thing that will entertain him for more than 5 minutes, not even a treat filled Kong will do that. He brings his yak cheese everywhere with him and even attempts to carry it out of our apartment on walks. If he can't find it or forgot where he put it, he turns into a mad man hunting it down. I jokingly call it his "emotional support yak cheese." So clearly he loves it, but what about me.Have to agree with my dog, these are good. I bought one other brand in a pinch once, and while it lasted longer, it smelled like smoked cheese. That smell transferred onto every piece of furniture my little guy chewed it on, so I will never buy another brand but Himalayan Dog Chew. These don't smell. They don't leave little hard chunks of yak cheese all over; they do shed minimally but nothing like the other I tried.Now some notes: longevity is mixed; some have lasted weeks and some have lasted a few hours. You ABSOLUTELY MUST keep an eye out for when they get small because like any dog chew, it becomes a choking hazard. You can soak the end piece in water and microwave it to get the puff version, but follow the instructions. If you over soak it, it may burn which is not fun to deal with. If you under soak it, it doesn't quite puff up like it should.

My little Shih Tzu absolutely loves these wonderful cheese chews! She’s missing some teeth and will have to have a few more removed in September but she doesn’t care when I present her with one of these! She does not like dog biscuits because they are hard but even as she works away on these cheesy chews the flavor must keep her going. I feel safe having her chew on these because they don’t disintegrate leaving her with pieces that might choke her. I definitely will be buying more as she adores these!

I've always liked these, and so do my dogs! Given the amount of time these last, which isn't long, the flavor must be pretty good. I do wish they were a bit bigger so they would take longer for my dogs to get through, but you can't beat this price point. Definitely worth the purchase!

These yak chews have gone through like 8 different dogs and not one has actually finished one. I have many friends with dogs so they’re over at my house all the time. They all love the cheese but none of them have hardly even made a dent in the them. Range is Great Dane/mastiff/pitbull, to cocker spaniel, to chihuahua. You can order small or large and I chose small bc of my dogs size, but even the big dogs don’t do damage to the small chews. I wanna say I’ve had these chews for just over a year-year and a half now. Still look nearly the same as they did when I first took them out the package. They were recommended to me, and I now recommend to everyone.

Like that is a natural product, a bit too hard though. I worry about chocking when the chew gets too small. Will not purchase again.

I have a miniature poodle so I bought her the small size himalayan chews and she just loves them. They lasts for days.

My grand pup loved these sticks. He usually goes right through any treat but these kept him busy for hours.

These chews made crate training the easiest thing in the world! Our puppy would howl when we first put him in, but as soon as we put him in with the yak bone, he calmed right down and barely made a peep. Easily his favorite treat/chew. They're not super long lasting, we'll probably get 3-4 days out of it (chew time of about 2 hours spread through the day), but you get the added bonus of being able to turn the nub into a cheesy poof treat when it's too small to chew anymore! It's a little pricey, but so very worth it. UPDATE!! 3-4 days has turned into at least 7-9 days of heavy chewing. Even better and long lasting than I expected! Or my dog doesn't chew very hard. Though I have a fair amount of evidence to the contrary.
