KontrolFreek FPS Freek Inferno Performance Thumbsticks

I recently added the FPS Freek Inferno to my PS4 controller, and it’s a total game-changer! The thumbsticks provide incredible height and precision, making aiming in shooters much smoother and more accurate. The textured surface feels amazing and gives a solid grip, even during long gaming sessions. I immediately noticed better control in fast-paced games, and it really helped me improve my reaction time. Installation is super easy, and they stay firmly in place – no slipping at all. Plus, the Inferno design looks awesome on the controller. Definitely worth it for any serious gamer looking to gain that extra edge!

I had heard of this product a few years ago but never bought any because I thought it was probably just a cheap plastic gimmick. I was wrong. If you play shooter games, you NEED this. Fortnite, COD, APEX, etc. I'm an older casual gamer who really only plays Fortnite on the weekends but these DO work very well. I'm not really a top-notch player but I do well in my matches. Some people say that these take some time getting used to. Not for me. The very first time using these I noticed a BIG difference in my aim and accuracy. I bought a 2-pack of the high-rise Infernos and put one on each of my two PS5 controller's right thumb-sticks. What you put on your left thumb-stick (if anything) is up to you. My left's just have a standard rubbery non-raised cap for extra traction. A few reviewers said that they fall off all of time but I've had NO issue with that at all. They stay secured as long as you install them correctly. If you want to improve your aim and accuracy, BUY THESE. They're worth it!!!

Why the 4-star review instead of 5: After removing and placing a Kontrol Freek on my right stick for Rainbow Six Siege and then transferring it to my left stick for MLB: The Show, I realized there was damage to my thumbsticks. My solution is to simply have one controller for use of Kontrol Freeks on a left stick and one controller for use of Kontrol Freeks on a right stick. An even better option is to invest in the Dual Sense Edge or a professional controller equivalent to remove the thumbsticks with the Kontrol Freeks on them and place them where they're wanted/needed. A 5-star Kontrol Freek, in my opinion, is one that can wrap around your thumbstick and be secure without damaging the thumbstick after removal and placement. The people who have shown complaints about this product ruining their thumbsticks remove and replace them too regularly. If you're playing a competitive game and invest in Kontrol Freeks, I would also invest in the ability to replace your sticks with the Dual Sense Edge or another equivalent capable of doing so. If not, then I recommend to LEAVE THE KONTROL FREEKS ON FOR THAT SPECIFIC DEFAULT CONTROLLER. I wrote a similar review for my Galaxy Kontrol Freeks. I believe they're both on par in terms of performance and grip on your thumb. However, the Inferno has 4 clasps or ridges (the pieces that grab the thumbstick on its sides) that are very firm and unforgiving when removing and placing.

Compré estos KontrolFreek porque juego bastante títulos competitivos y quería mejorar un poco la precisión al apuntar sin tener que cambiar de control. La diferencia sí se nota, especialmente en juegos como Call of Duty: Warzone, Fortnite o Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. Al agregar más altura al joystick, se siente más fácil hacer movimientos pequeños y precisos al apuntar. KontrolFreek indica que estos añaden aproximadamente 9.9 mm de altura, además de una textura antideslizante que mejora el agarre. La textura también me gustó bastante porque evita que el dedo se resbale durante sesiones largas, especialmente cuando juegas varias horas seguidas. Eso sí, no fue algo que amé desde el primer minuto. Los primeros días se sienten raros porque cambia la sensibilidad a la que estás acostumbrado y tuve que ajustar un poco mis configuraciones dentro del juego para sentirme cómodo. Incluso en Reddit varias personas comentan que algunos prefieren usar solo uno de los sticks (normalmente el derecho) y que todo depende bastante de gustos personales. Lo positivo: -Mejor precisión en shooters -Buen agarre -Fáciles de instalar -Se sienten bastante cómodos después de acostumbrarte Lo menos positivo: -Requieren tiempo de adaptación -No todos los jugadores van a notar una gran diferencia -Si juegas principalmente títulos casuales o de historia, quizás no sean tan necesarios En resumen, si juegas shooters con frecuencia y quieres un pequeño extra de precisión sin gastar demasiado, me parecieron una compra bastante buena. No te convertirán automáticamente en mejor jugador, pero sí pueden ayudar bastante una vez te acostumbras.

have used these for a few games of Fortnite and can tell these help a lot with my aim, and helps the bad grip on ps5 controller joysticks. would 100% recommend

Looked like the box had already been opened. Like it was repackaged. So far the controller works great just alittle suspicious that it was a refurbished controller and not a new one

Già il titolo dice tutto! Se non c'è l'hai non li cerchi, ma quando c'è li hai, non ne puoi più fare a meno. Sono fenomenali! Funzionano benissimo, li ho usati per FPS, GDR, e Action e vanno alla grande. Il pollice rimane alzato il giusto e non fa male neanche dopo lunghe sessione. Bisogno prenderci la mano, come tutte le cose, ma ve li consiglio senza riserva.
