These things are great and have so many uses, way better than regular rubber bands from office depot or whatever. They're great for bridling live bait. I simply loop in loop over the belly of the hook and then use a piece of stainless leader wire and bent it in half as a needle. Go through the eye socket of the bait (above the eyes) and then make a few wraps back over the hook. The bait stays alive very well and I haven't had a band break yet. They're also great for keeping hooks untangled when storing plugs or for organizing pre-tied leader setups. I keep a few of these in every tackle tray now so I've always got them handy.
