45 days -315w with open fixture ,4x4 easy even spread for catnip 100x more happy under this bulb than leds - in fact switched to leds for litterally 48hrs or so for a heatwave …. They waterlogged so bad they diedPeople thinking cmh is a dead or outdated technology well think living in a glass house is good idea and I hate Amazon but they sell some GOOD Cheap and so far knock on wood SAFE cmh gear, I assume it’s double jacketed I see a spring and bulb case eh , cmh has some weird things like 10min-10hr min run time for ballasts and 100hrs or so burn in for this bulb btw (spectrum shifts untill then) but if I’m honest I used three in different setups and it beat out led and uh is $38-20k hours for sure push it to 24k even with 80 percent light - beware end of life do not fire if it doesn’t want too- if you power off STAY OFF untill his bulb cools or it can explode hot plasma on youCmh is as safe as you are providing the gear is made well this bulb is supposed to have a jacket - to prevent the bulb from getting ya - tho rule of thumb jusy garden when off , bright as the actual sun lmao , so not really a fan and for you legal cannabis /hemp growers or anyone with flowering phytophotic plants , use a GREEN LED , as far as I know it does not disrupt sleep rhythms and it is safer to garden lights off I do it either or , and honestly I don’t do as much they seem to grow much much faster than led so much so no need for any trimming as long as there is adequate rh under 70 uv from this bulb I have not seen ANY powdery mildew or boytris on any catnip leaves every one is prefect and loooks I swear just healthier and my cat eats it uppp she loves it- use uv on catnip long story but it has toxic stuff uv bakes it off,So perfect light for catnip and a huge spread and power , fixutre are 50/80usd so I mean a cmh 315 is about 100usd fully ready to go for like around s year or twoThey run hot if it’s hot -Ambient temps - that is all the at mattersLess than 75 , with airflow around it , it raises it about 3-5f in a large area it is almost negligible but oh lord if it’s over 80 they go nuclear mHave some sort of positive void coefficient where if it starts getting too hot it pulls more power to run hotter and cycles and can end up pulling more than it is suoooses to and goes nuclear , 10+F , so just a warning about all these things I mean honestly easier to master than led and so much cheaper so far knock on wood theee bulbs all burning bright thank you 🙏 great bulb for the money best price to performance good far red very good uvlast night as of posting this thing apparently exploded inner shell and was still going, realized light was SUPER dim and looked under fixture where there was an ever largeneing black spot on the outer glass (remains now even) and killed power and unplugged - for what its worth the other two bulbs still work fine in two other fixtures i tested but this one has imploded and still operated NOT SAFE

Theyre good lamps and produce great quality but just like every other brand don't make if but about 7 months. Always lamp failure at about half of it's advertised life expectancy

We had to send two back as soon as we got them because they were broken. Then 2 of them went out after less than 2 hours of running. Unfortunately we were passed the return window by the time we used those so we just lot $60.

bought two bulbs one was damaged in old looking box. no visible damage to shipment light must have been bad before shipping but sent anyways .

Absolute trash. Just like everyone’s mentioned. They WILL show up broken. DO NOT BUY save yourself the headache I knew they would be broken but I had some extra cash and thought what the hell. SUPER REGRET. Dont do it. Trust me there’s waaaay better options for this price range. Keep it moving.

Ordered and sent back several. Never seemed to get any that worked. Several arrived with broken glass and filaments. They were never sent with any real packaging. I tried a couple returns but ended just get a refund.
