Yes. When we bought this pack it was a pack of five (5 x 250g). All in date and totally as per standard items that you might buy in a local supermarket. As to review confusion - I think Amazon tries to group reviews for common items so that reviews for buying a single pack might be grouped with reviews for buying, say, a pack of five or whatever. Their logic is probably that the review is about the actual product rather than the quantity purchased (hope that make sense).
