I think the hardest thing was opening up and excitement. The rubber seal was lose; no issue I was able to repair and then needed longer bolts and called the manufactured and waited 45 minutes before they answered, just so they can say "sorry that's what you get. Reach out to a hardware store", it's a great roof top tent but those little things were a pain. You need to make sure your bed rack where it will connect is no longer than 2 inches or the bolts will not work; I also recommend you don't get a frame type of bed rack or if you do expect to get creative. I finally took it out this weekend 8/5/2023 and was no issue until packing up. Three of the latches broke, I had to put them together and luckily I had my tools. Then it was not closing all the way; which sucked and was worried the damn thing would pop open on my way home (5hr drive). Overall the tent is comfortable but for what it cost, I would have wished they gave a damn.So far Amazon has not responded, has not reached out, and Smitty manufactured sucked at taking care or figuring out a solution for their hardware. I even tried looking on their site and see they sell those latches and nope.

Does not shut, does not open, latches break, seal is a joke, all hardware snapped immediately. I mean smittybilt is a joke! Stay far away from these wanna be offroad company. Only good thing I have to say about this tent is it is comfortable and looks ok in the inside. Other than that, straight pile of garbage.

I like the simplicity and overall look. I wanted a tent I could leave on the vehicle most of the time. Roomier than it looks. Found out it will start to close with over 4 inches of snow! Ha ha —unexpected weather yet it kept us warm/dry!
