Work great
I got these for doing yardwork... loud blower, chainsaw, lawn mower, etc. They work great: they cut the majority of the noise (my wife throws stuff at me to get my attention), they are still comfortable after wearing them for 2 hours straight, and it is a sturdy, high-quality product. The price is very reasonable. I have no complaints at all

Exceeded expectations!
True confession: I bought these because I’m scared of storms. We’ve recently been in an endless cycle of severe storms hammering the area with hail, horizontal rain, and damaging winds. One night we were pounded with a series of hail storms, so music was cranked up to drown out the sound of the hail. But during one of the storms, there was a roar of noise from the hail on the roof so intense that it drowned out the music. I never wanna hear a sound like that again, ever, so I decided to get some heavy-duty ear muffs, since we had another couple of weeks of crazy weather in the forecast. After spending too much time weeding through products and reviews, I finally chose these. They’re phenomenal!! They take the noise level WAY down, and they’re actually enjoyable to wear. They’re easy to adjust, even with arthritic hands, and so comfy that it’s easy to forget you’re wearing them. I’m finding all kinds of reasons to use them: the paper shredder with a super loud motor and teeth-gritting mechanical whine, middle of the night fart-can drivers, and the neighbor who uses their screaming leaf blower for everything—snow, leaves, grass clippings, scaring squirrels from nesting in the gutters…And yes, they work perfectly for hailstorms! A couple of nights ago we had a whopper of a round of hail, but as soon as that awful sound began, I took refuge in these amazing earmuffs. Instead of having a coronary, I was able to stay zen and chill and even fell asleep with the earmuffs on. I’ve used these at least a dozen times in the past several weeks and they have stayed feeling solidly built and very comfortable. The material where the earpieces contact your skin is totally non- irritating (for me) and of good quality. When they get sweaty it’s easy to wipe off or let dry by flipping the earpieces outward. They don’t feel sweaty when wearing them, though. Even though it was 80F when the last storm hit, I was surprised to see sweat on the earpieces when I removed them, because they never felt like any heat was building up, at all. Bear in mind that you will be able to hear things through these earmuffs—they don’t completely block all sound. Complete elimination of sound is not what they are designed for. But they decrease the sound level so significantly that you’ll be amazed. If you are using these through stormy weather, make sure you have a way to get tornado/flood warnings, like getting alerts sent to your phone and keeping your phone next to you on vibrate and ring. I could faintly hear the tornado sirens through the earmuffs, but a siren is a couple of blocks from my house and the wind direction was blowing the sound toward my house. I never thought I’d consider a pair of sound reducing ear muffs an essential for a bug-out bag, but I’ll be taking these next time the weather chases us out of our homes. I’d also highly recommend these for combat veterans with PTSD, especially during July 4th when the neighborhood pyros are keeping every living thing from having a normal life. Apologies for the novel, but one last thing: the colors are as vibrant as they look online. I have them in yellow and they’re a scrumptious color. Five stars for a rating isn’t enough—I’d give these 10. And much gratitude for the quality and usefulness of this product that has actually made life less stressful in certain situations.

Hyperausis
Im giving this 5 stars simply because how well and comfortable they are. I personally developed hyperausis from wearing ear plugs at work and had to switch to ear muffs. With having to wear a bump caps (not a hard hat) and having a bigger head its hard to find ear muffs that fit comfortably. I did feel a little bit of nauseous from wearing them at 1st from how well they block out the noise. I can still hear at work, it just sounds a lot quieter. I will recommend these to anyone that develops hyperausis like I did.

Great product, great value for money.
These did EXACTLY what I needed them to do...kill the loud noise of saws and drills in my workshop. They were priced fair, perform admirably, and thus far seem to be holding up very well. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of defense from loud noises. Minor things that bug me (something always does). 1. I have a small head, but they seem to have limited range of expansion even for me. 2. I wish they had a little more room inside so I could wear my Airpods comfortably.

So far so Good, with this and earplugs blocks neighbor's loud Harley Davidson....
I have some neighbors with motorcycles....A couple Harleys and some other motorcycle I'm not sure the brand....They start them up....and the instant they press the ignition and the motor starts there is from silence to this sudden loud THUNK which will spook anybody out of their sleep....Then they let the motorcycles idle which is loud in and of itself....And then they just rev rev rev rev.....For as long as 15 to 30 minutes....At the worst times....Early in the morning....really late at night....I have always had super sensitive hearing....And they roll their bikes just outside their garage and start them up....30 feet away is my bedroom window and the wall borders all 3 bedrooms so there is no escaping getting woken out of sleep....I have found some great and comfortable earplugs which I wear pretty much 24/7 because the sound of things such as cars and trucks driving down the road is just so loud to my ears....I wish they had earplugs that were stronger and block out everything....But apparently not....if a person wants complete silence apparently the only option is blast loud music until you go so deaf you need hearing aids to listen to someone talking to you across the table....Anyways....I needed more sound blocking than my really nice and comfortable earplugs because I'm getting blasted with like 120 decibels from these people and their Harleys....which jolts anybody out of deep sleep....I have tried a few of these over the ear muffs and these seem to do a pretty good job, the first pair was I think maybe unbranded....They worked good but soon my ears hurt because they didn't have enough room so the top and bottom of my ears would rub and get sore....I couldn't wear them very long plus they would catch some hair in the side parts that adjust the fit, I tried another brand something like pro for sho.... Or something like that....They work okay....But they were "Made low profile thin" like when somebody buys something to protect their hearing they are going to care about something like that....They worked okay, but before long they seemed to be blocking less and less sound....So I went looking for something else....I decided to try these....They seem to really be doing a good job so far.....Sure they are a tad bulky but I'm not looking for style points....I'm trying to get peace and quiet my hearing vs neighbors Harleys....These so far seem to be doing just what I need....They are also quite comfortable too....They don't make my ears or sides or top of my head sore...They seem to be blocking out noise just like I need if I am going to get sleep....The other brand soon started blocking less and less sound, unfortunately..... Hopefully these will last and won't also start losing sound blocking abilities.....I wonder about how it's listed as 37Db but then it also says it meats the standard max of 34Db.....So is it 37 or 34? It seems to say it's both, which is odd....But so far.....So good.....Peace and quiet even with the jerks next door who make tons of noise with their Harleys at all hours....I like the fact these are so far very comfortable to fit....Even to sleep in..... Hopefully these hold up well over time....At this point, I definitely recommend these, they are big, yes, but they block more sound because they create a good seal and they are comfortable to wear, even for sleep.

Perfect.
My husband is very happy. They actually fit an adult man. They’re high quality, very comfortable, block almost all external sound (noisy riding mower) and even let him leave his over the ear hearing aids on. Couldn’t be happier.

Best Protection out there...
I've used ear protection for thirty years and these are the best performing muffs I've ever used. It helps that they offered extra large which made everything fit perfectly. Spend a couple extra bucks and you'll be very happy with these.

37 db Isolation? i don't think so.
I am a drummer, and bought these based on the reviews of being better or comparable to VicFirth and others, but they are not. Don't get me wrong - they are good. Tight , comfy etc. But for me they don't cut out enough noise, and/or not the right frequencies. The best ear muffs i have tried so far have been my old Howard Leight Sync model EN352 headphones - unplugged. I have tried all kinds of others, including the Vics. The EN352s cut out the "woffy" low mid Bass Drum and Tom frequencies better - in my opinion. The EN 352s are rated 25db NRR, and cut out better frequencies than the Decibal Defense, to my ears anyways.

Good Ear Defense
My son uses them while he is practicing his drums and I tried it as well. They cut out so much of the loud noise. Very comfortable and not too pressing on the ears as well.
